What you'll see and do
Royal Palace Amsterdam
Amsterdam’s Royal Palace is one of the city’s most important 17th-century landmarks and a masterpiece of Dutch classicism. Originally built as the city hall of Amsterdam during its Golden Age, it was designed to reflect the power, wealth, and ambition of a thriving republic. Today, it serves as an official ceremonial palace of the Dutch monarchy and is open to visitors as a museum when not in use for state occasions. Inside, its vast marble interiors, monumental halls, and historic artworks offer a rare glimpse into both civic governance and royal ceremony, all under one roof.

Wonderful Amsterdam Royal Palace Tour
Anna gave me a wonderful private tour of the Dutch Royal Palce. The meeting instructions were clear and we met right on time to start our tour. We toured the whole palace and her insights into the history of the palace and the artwork in the palace was top notch. I came away learning so much more about the history of the Netherlands than I would have doing the tour on my own. Anna’s knowledge made this tour of the Royal Palace one I will never forget.
