Joy was an outstanding...
Joy was an outstanding boat captain! She made everyone comfortable and provided great information about the canals and city. There was a good variety of wine and the beer was cold. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone that wants to get a good overview of the city and enjoy a few adult beverages along the way!

Only way to watch the Pride parade!
This is the only way to watch the Pride parade! Front row viewing, could almost touch the floats as they went by. Drinks, snacks and a bathroom!!! Was a great day and party!

Martin was a fab captain!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing time on the all-inclusive pizza boat tour for a hen party! There were 10 of us, and from the moment we stepped onboard, Martin made us feel so welcome. He really got involved with the fun hen party atmosphere, had a great sense of humour, and was such a happy, friendly skipper. At the same time, Martin was really knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of information about the sights during the tour without it feeling like too much. It was the perfect balance of sightseeing and celebrating! The all-inclusive package was excellent value. We each had our own pizza, which was delicious, and there were plenty of drinks available throughout the trip, so nobody went without. We all had such a fantastic evening and would highly recommend this experience to anyone, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fun evening out. The only small suggestion I’d make is to keep a few blankets onboard. We were on the 9pm–11pm sailing, and once the sun went down it did get a little chilly. It certainly didn’t spoil the experience, but blankets would have been a lovely addition. Thank you, Martin, for helping make our hen do so memorable!

Canal Cruise from Hell
I will not be booking this experience again and honestly, have lost trendendous trust and reliance on Viator. My 'Amsterdam Private boat tour with Unlimited Drinks' was to commence at 5PM. Under meeting point in the provide details for 'How to get there', all that was stated was the dock's location, which is expectedly populated with numerous boats and nothing more specific than that our pick-up "is next to Chinese Restaurant Sea Palace". Therefore, I arrived with 5 others for our reservation at 4:52PM, giving us enough time (or so I thought) to pin down either the captain and/or the boat's whereabouts with no prior detail aside from the aforementioned 'meeting point'. After 10 or so minutes running back and forth the dock, frantically asking every single boat if they had a reservation under my name, I finally called Viator customer service firstly at 5:04PM. The agent on the line then provided additional details that our cruise captain Luke would be wearing an orange polo, standing at the dock next to a boat labeled 'Rose'. This was not true as I proceeded to call out for Luke or identify the boat's name for 10 more minutes. At 5:23PM (mind you, this being my third customer service call), where I inquired if we could cancel or be placed on another boat, the agent finally gets a hold of the captain, and we find him hiding inside his boat, not at all in an orange polo but rather, a white dress shirt, chugging beer, and the concealed name of his boat shrouded by the side of the dock. One could sensibly understand my frustration. Luke was stalling time because the prior party before us had either guzzled all the unlimited drinks that were provided, or this was poor logistical planning on timing and resources in its entirety. I know this to be certain as all 6 of us in the party then witness a smaller boat arriving and loading crates of drinks onto the Rose at 5:35PM. We finally board at 5:40PM and there is broken glass everywhere, most likely left by the previous participants. Our boat trip, which was listed as an 1.5 hour ride, left at 5:40PM and docked back at 6:42PM. I did not ask for the boat ride to be delayed. Even if that were the case, we only experienced 2/3 of the time promised. I was not given requisite information to locate my boat or captain effectively and had a dinner reservation that was cancelled because our boat docked late. The total disregard for professionalism and punctuality mired what was supposed to be a wonderful boat ride celebrating my friends' joint birthday. We had travelled from the States to commemorate this joyous occasion in Amsterdam and instead, were left frustrated and dissatisfied. Given all this, it should be no surprise that I will be seeking at minimum, a partial refund for the huge inconvenience and the inaccurate advertising of services.

Fantastic experience! Would do it again!
We had a wonderful afternoon touring Amsterdam with our amazing guide. The book process was seamless. Finding the meeting point was easy. This was a great opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the city in a relaxed environment.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 98 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amsterdam Private Boat Tour with Unlimited Drinks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
