About this experience
Le Vieux Nice or the Old Nice is the iconic district of the city where the Italian art and architecture, reminiscent of the City’s volatile past, remain still very tangible... In this tour, you’ll discovery the ever-unpredictable history of Nice, a city, by its outer appearance has no or very little equivalent in the rest of France. The narrow streets of the congested Old City center—a legacy from its medieval origins—and its typical architecture with mixed styles from the Middle Age to the late 19th century, shall take you by surprise. Typical provençal markets and historical outlets are there for you to make unforgettable shopping experiences. Along the tour, you will learn a great deal of anecdotes and trivia about local people, products and food.

Tour Company apparently didn’t have a guide and therefore we stood waiting for 30 minutes at the pick up spot
We booked and paid in full for this tour got to the pick up spot on time. Waited for 30 minutes tried to contact the tour operator twice only to have to go through viator and Tripadvisor to discover that the tour operator apparently had no tour guides available and therefore just blew us off. No response to our attempts to contact them. No apologies. No cancellation just didn’t show up severely disappointed do not recommend this company
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Unfortunately, this tour had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The cancellation was processed through the Viator platform more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour, in accordance with the booking procedure. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, and we sincerely apologize if the cancellation notification did not reach you in time. Please note that your booking was fully refunded. We always strive to provide the highest level of service, and we regret that we were unable to welcome you on this occasion. Kind regards, French Riviera Tours

Marina is the best
My wife and I got a chance to get a private tour with Marina and I must say that it was so amazing to see the architecture and history that Old Nice has to offer. She is very personable and knowledgeable in the deep rich history of this area of the world. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to tour this city and/or the French Riviera. Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.
How much does Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France cost?
+
Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.
Is Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amazing Private Walking Tour of Old Nice between Italy and France start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nice?
+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
