Great examples of the wines of Valpolicella

Warm and welcoming - great winery visit
Alberto provided my wife and I with a great introduction to a number of great wines (5 different ones) made at the family’s winery. We thoroughly enjoyed our dialogue. It’s fascinating that wines have been made here since Roman times … Definitely worth a visit again next time we pass through the Valpolicella wine region. Great value and perfect in terms of length of visit.

Fun trip
I booked this through Viator, on Easter Sunday. It was a fun experience. The experience was great, and the wines were excellent. You can tell the care that they give their products. Our guide was lovely and welcoming to the group. It is easily accessible by bus from Verona city centre.

Family run winery
We had a wonderful tasting with Emanuele, very detailed descriptions of the wines, and interesting history of his grandfather and father before him. Delicious lineup of wines, wonderful olive oil, and a small sip of grappa. His son was helpful as well with a bit of translation. Fantastic time, highly recommend.

Amarone Experience
We had a great time! The wines were amazing! We especially enjoyed the 3 Fradei, Amarone and Recioto. The olive oil was very good as well. Highly recommend!

Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Verona can sell out a month out. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Verona?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
