A fun day!
Our tour guide was Very social and informative. It was fun to get to these out of the way place we wouldn’t have gone otherwise. The lunch was fun, the additional seafood dishes were not to my taste but an interesting experience. Feeding the seagulls may have been the best part! (get a bag of crackers when they offer them) Overall an awesome addition to our Japan trip

Beautiful places but not enough time in any
All the places we visited are beautiful. The only problem is that there are too many and we didn't get to spend more than 20 minutes in each. The vast majority of the tour you're just in a bus. Maybe focus on locations that are closer to each other so we don't have to be in the bus for 80% of the tour.

Day Trip
Harie our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly personable and we enjoyed having him on our trip. However, the trip itself is heavily overpriced. The seats on the bus are incredibly small and compact. If you do not eat seafood, your options are limited for lunch. It’s a lot of driving, upwards of 4+ hours total for the day. The group was also split in half, with only a few English speakers and the rest Mandarin which felt exclusive and made explanations feel separated. The sights we saw weren’t that great, I feel like the internet overhyped the appeal of the cities, and I don’t think it is personally worth your time. I would not take this trip again unfortunately. Honestly kind of surprised the trip was ranked so highly

If you would like to explore some tranquil and beautiful nature in Japan…this one is for you!
We had a very full and long day with wonderful guide Eric today. Mixed group of international visitors, including many guests from China. All commentary was bilingual English/Mandarin, but the small multicultural group made the experience even more special. Rather long bus rides from Osaka, but the wonderful nature around all destinations certainly made the day worthwhile. Great premium lunch experience with red crab and various Japanese dishes included.
Response from the operator: Dear valued customer, Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you had such a fulfilling day and enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery. It’s great to know that our guide Eric made a positive impact on your experience and that the multicultural atmosphere added something special to your trip. We’re also very happy that you enjoyed the premium lunch and found the journey worthwhile despite the longer travel time. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again on another memorable tour in Japan! Best regards, VIP Japan Tours

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Osaka.
How much does Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $87 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Osaka usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Osaka is not rushed.
Is Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Osaka, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Osaka can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Osaka and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amanohashidate & Miyama 1-Day Bus Tour: From Osaka/Kyoto w/ Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Osaka within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Osaka?
+
On Outty we rank every Osaka experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hungry Osaka Street Food Tour:15 Tastings & 3 Drinks with a Local, Ultimate Osaka Walking Tour: Castle, Dotonbori, Gems & Lunch, Osaka Castle Walking Tour and Castle Tower Admission. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Osaka?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Osaka?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
