Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, personable driver, Enzo, catered to our needs. The tour was timed well so we had the best
Enzo was an amazing tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and showed us many special places in the 3 towns, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. He was able to get us a boat cruise to see the Amalfi coast from the water! The restaurant where we had lunch had beautiful views and delicious food and vino!
Response from the operator: Thank you We ware really happy you had a great day visiting our towns along the amalficoast with Enzo. Grazie mille Max Palomba

Amazing private Amalfi tour
We booked a private tour around Amalfi coast for 4 friends while celebrating 2 birthdays. Our booker Lisa was very patient and informative, all the while giving us great recommendations and taking care of all our requests. Our driver Nello was a superb driver and a very kind funny guy. Our entire experience was enjoyable! Thank you Lisa, Max, and Nello.
Response from the operator: Thank you. It was a pleasure and we are really happy you enjoyed your stay and made some happy memories. Until next time Grazie mille Lisa, Nello & Max

Good Company Bad Guide
The destinations themselves were interesting and arranging the tour was easy; the company was responsive. I can’t say as much for the driver Antonio. From the beginning it was a hard sell for the boat trip and prearranged lunch. I understand that was part of his job but it felt as though we would be inconveniencing him if we chose not to take the add ons.He was verbally irritated by other drivers. On the way back he played schlocky music and sang loudly. I learned from a fellow traveller that he was ready to return without us because we supposedly were not at the meeting site at the appointed time. In fact we were there but he had already moved the van. In the end he had the nerve to pressure us for tips. We have been on several other excursions during our time in Italy and he was most unpleasant compared to other guides. I would recommend the company but request a different guide.
Response from the operator: Thankyou As the owner I appreciate your comments. Having investigated further it seems the other travellers' thought he was very informative, knowledgeable and loved his singing. Antonio like all our drivers have had excellent reviews. For us offering options of lunch or minicruise is always a pleasure not an inconvenience. As for talking to a fellow traveller implying you would be left to return alone is not entirely true, due to the fact you were much later than the appointed time and were worried that he may have left you. To date no matter what the situation we have always returned with everyone on board. I hope at least you enjoyed the views along our beautiful coastline and glad you found the towns visited interesting. Thankyou for recommending our company. Grazie mille Max Palomba & Antonio

Wow, wow, wow, what a fabulous trip
Wow, wow, wow, what a fantastic tour around the beautiful Amalfi Coast, all arranged by the lovely Lisa (She has been a star, looked after us for all sorts of trips, thank you). Antonio was our driver, Sorrento's very own George Clooney! He was amazing, a true character who looked after us from start to finish, plying us with snippets of information along the way. I would highly recommend this trip to anybody visiting Sorrento, it's a must, all done in an air conditioned , private Mercedes van. The trip was 9 hours but it flew by, stopping at Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, where we had a beautiful lunch with the most amazing view over the Amalfi coast. Do not hesitate to book this trip, you will regret it, trust me👍. 5*
Response from the operator: Thankyou It was a pleasure, great meeting you all on this special occasion. Really happy you all enjoyed our beautiful Amalficoast with Antonio aka George C. We really appreciate your recommendations. Until next time Grazie mille Max Palomba, Lisa, Antonio & Nello

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine cost?
+
Prices start at $111 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch & Wine start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
