Fantastic tour in the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi & Furore and Positano

My companion and I had just disembarked from our cruise ship in Salerno and noticed the LYGEA BOAT RENTAL office just a few meters from the Maritime Station. We were very impressed by their brochure with a very detailed map of the Amalfi Coast and the images of their itineraries, as well as by the kindness and availability of Giovanni, whom we did not know was the owner. He offered us several options and immediately inspired great trust. In just a few minutes, we had chosen our boat excursion to visit Amalfi, Furore, and Positano. In about 30 minutes, we were already on board their splendid Romar BERMUDA 690 boat, a very elegant and comfortable vessel, truly brand new, just as Giovanni had assured us. Our skipper, Enrico, was very welcoming and professional from the start. We sailed peacefully from Salerno to Amalfi, with some very picturesque and suggestive stops like the Pandora Cave, the Marmorata Waterfall, and Atrani. After arriving at the beautiful Amalfi, we continued sailing to visit the famous natural Fjord of Furore, then the marina of Praiano, and finally reached the true gem... the enchanting Positano. Here we disembarked to visit the village and its famous artisan shops and stores selling typical products of the coast. Everything was fantastic, even the return trip to Salerno; everything was truly impeccable. Thank you, Giovanni, thank you, Enrico. It was an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful day on the boat, highly recommended and worth repeating.

Wonderful experience and absolutely recommended! My family and I spent an unforgettable day among crystal-clear sea, music, relaxation, and postcard views. From the very first contact, we found an organized, available, and very professional staff. The boat was truly stunning: new, spotless, and well-maintained in every detail. It had all the necessary comforts for a perfect day at sea. Sailing along the Amalfi Coast, seeing Positano and the other villages from the sea is something unique. The added value, however, was definitely Giovanni: a well-prepared, very friendly skipper who was always attentive to help us experience the best of the journey. He took us to fantastic places, explaining curiosities and also advising us on where to stop for food and swimming. It was a day full of emotions that we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended!

    Fantastic boat tour!

We had a fantastic boat tour!!! My friends and I often visit the Amalfi Coast, and this is not the first time we have taken a boat tour. While walking towards the port of Salerno (Molo Manfredi), we noticed the beautiful info point of LYGEA. Giovanni and his team were very welcoming and kind; they advised us on the best itinerary to follow based on our requests and the ideal boat for us. The boat excursion and the ape calessino ride were truly enchanting and very fun; we explored wonderful coves and inlets. I highly recommend the tour with LYGEA for an unforgettable experience of the Amalfi Coast.

A dream day among Amalfi, Positano, Nerano, and the Li Galli islands!!

Lygea Boat was truly an excellent choice; the skipper Giovanni is very professional and experienced, the boat was new and equipped with all the comforts and services for a day full of pampering. We boarded in Salerno, near the Maritime Station; the first stop was Amalfi, where we disembarked for a brief tour and to visit the beautiful Amalfi Cathedral. Then we continued relying on Giovanni's advice, who took us on a fantastic tour at a moderate and very pleasant speed, exploring the most beautiful inlets and coves of Conca dei Marini, Furore and its legendary fjord, and Praiano, and then we arrived in Positano. We also disembarked in Positano to visit the beautiful little streets immersed in incredible folklore. We also made some inevitable purchases of typical artisanal products from "Positano fashion." Always following the suggestions of our very expert skipper, we continued our relaxing tour along the coast from Positano to Nerano and Marina del Cantone. Here, thanks to Giovanni, we booked a table for the two of us directly on a terrace by the sea at the restaurant "Il Cantuccio," which was truly fantastic. We enjoyed typical and exquisite dishes, fresh fish, and good wine; everything was delicious. After about an hour and a half, we resumed our tour, and in less than 15 minutes, we literally arrived in paradise... at the "Li Galli Islands," the spectacular islands of the Sirens immersed in a blue, cobalt sea. Giovanni anchored the boat in the calmest cove where the sea was calmer, and it was exhilarating for us. We took many dives, swam, and enjoyed unforgettable moments, pampered by Giovanni's attentions as he served us "prosecco and various snacks." Alas, the time came to return to Salerno, and this experience was also very pleasant. From the Li Galli Islands, we arrived in Salerno in about 35 minutes, with a display of colors and a warm, pleasant sun beginning to set behind us, practically resting on the Island of Capri. Everything was truly super, super beautiful, enchanting!! A huge thank you to Giovanni, definitely a guarantee for anyone wanting to visit and learn about the Amalfi Coast and also Capri. Next time, in fact, we would like to repeat this dream to visit Capri as well!!

Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.

How much does Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT cost?

    +

Prices start at $530 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.

Is Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amalfi Coast Tour by APE Calessino and BOAT start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Salerno?

    +

On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Salerno?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Salerno?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
