    Excellent Tour, Excellent Guide

Antonio was an incredible guide who took us on a memorable tour of the coast, stopping at local secrets and sharing information throughout the trip! He was kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we saw all the Amalfi coast had to offer!

    Excellent day

Very good trip - the smaller coach meant we were able to access areas bigger vehicles may not have done. The highlight of the tour was the boat trip, which everyone hugely enjoyed. We were looked after very well by our guide - and lunch was good too, with care taken in particular of one party member who had a food allergy problem - the restaurant really made sure she was OK. Only reason I haven't given it 5 stars, it did seem a bit over-priced.

A relaxing way to do the Amalfi coast

This was a great trip for lots of reasons Having an 8 seater coach got us to places the big vehicles can’t reach or takeages to negotiate the tight turns. You have great views from the vehicle too. With only 8 people you soon get to form a friendly camaraderie as you spend the day together. One hour in each town is enough, you need to allow time to travel these congested roads! Ravello may be the smallest town but it is beautiful. Make sure you visit the Ruffalo gardens, they will take an hour easily. Lunch in the hotel in Scala is excellent too. Finally, Giovanni, was a superb driver and so much fun. Loads of local knowledge but a great guy to be with. Well worth the money and a great way to do the coastal towns.

    Wonderful Tour

This tour was a highlight of my holiday! Bernardo was the most perfect driver and guide: personable, fun, fluent in English and highly knowledgeable of the culture and history in all the areas we visited. He arrived promptly for morning pick up in a large, impeccably clean van and we only had 5 in our group, which was very comfortable and relaxed. Bernardo made time to stop at the most breathtaking spots along the way for plenty of photo opportunities. I felt completely safe with him as a driver on the windy roads and he looked after us royally the entire day. Lunch was at a lovely spot high up in the village of Scala and overlooking Ravello. This is the most memorable way to see a large area of the coast in one day. I highly recommend Bernardo as a driver for the most beautiful and memorable experience.

    Disappointed

Poor visability of scenery with type of vehicle for semi private tour. Driver failed to stop for coastline pictures when there was space to pull off at. Asked driver if we could stop but no response. Would suggest less time in the towns since this wasn't a shopping tour but felt like one.

How much does Amalfi Coast Highlights: Small-Group Tour from Sorrento cost?

    +

Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amalfi Coast Highlights: Small-Group Tour from Sorrento take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.

Is Amalfi Coast Highlights: Small-Group Tour from Sorrento worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Coast Highlights: Small-Group Tour from Sorrento?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amalfi Coast Highlights: Small-Group Tour from Sorrento suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Amalfi Coast Highlights: Small-Group Tour from Sorrento?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amalfi Coast Highlights: Small-Group Tour from Sorrento start and how do I get there?

    +

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sorrento?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sorrento?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
