Pompeii and Amalfi Cruise tour in one day!
This was an amazing tour of southern Italy!!! Giuseppe was an amazing driver and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the regions in southern Italy, We arrived in the port of Salerno and Giuseppe.was already there waiting for us. He contacted us immediately and met us at the gate once we disembarked from the ship. From there, we had planned to go to Pompeii, where Giuseppe drove us and gave us a beautiful historical background of the area. We were scheduled to arrive a few minutes early, so he stopped in a beautiful church. From there, we went to Positano and onto the Amalfi coast. We drove down the entire coast, stopped for lunch in Amalfi and Giuseppe gave us beautiful opportunities to take pictures overlooking the water and the backdrop of a beautiful homes in Amalfi. We were together for almost a full eight hours, and we learned so much. We had the best time. Giuseppe made us feel very at home the entire time and made us feel like family. We are so glad we chose to see Amalfi this way and used Benvenuto. We will definitely see Giuseppe again. “Come as friends, leave as family”

The Perfect Positano and Pompeii Experience
Our experience exploring Positano and Pompeii was absolutely superb from beginning to end! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Our driver, Giuseppe, was exceptional. Having been born and raised in the area, he had an incredible amount of knowledge about everything we saw along the way, and his genuine pride and love for Italian culture made the experience even more special. He shared interesting information throughout the drive and made us feel as though we were seeing the area through the eyes of a local rather than simply visiting as tourists. Giuseppe knew exactly where to stop for the most breathtaking panoramic views and took some beautiful family photos for us. He was actually quite talented with the camera! He also brought us to an amazing authentic restaurant overlooking Positano. The setting was spectacular, the food was delicious, and it was exactly the kind of place we never would have found on our own. On his recommendation, we also visited a local limoncello factory, which was another wonderful and unexpected addition to our day. Beyond his knowledge and experience, Giuseppe was simply a pleasure to spend the day with. He was incredibly friendly, warm, easygoing, and attentive to our family. He is an extremely experienced and confident driver, which is especially important on the winding roads around the Amalfi Coast. His English was excellent, and conversation with him was effortless. He truly is a gem of a person and someone who genuinely cares about making his guests' experience memorable. For our visit to Pompeii, we had a private guide named Daniela, who was equally outstanding. She gave us one of the best guided tours we have had during our travels. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and knew exactly how to make Pompeii come alive. Most importantly for us, she managed to keep the tour interesting not only for the adults, but also for our 16 and 18 year old sons. Everyone in our family was completely engaged, which says a lot about how talented she is as a guide. The combination of Giuseppe and Daniela made this an unforgettable day for our entire family. I highly recommend this company and especially Giuseppe. If you have the opportunity to request him as your driver, do it. You will absolutely not be disappointed!

Benvenuto Limos and Private Tours Made Rome and Amalfi Sparkle for Us
While the Amalfi coast is amazing in it's own right, traveling can induce some anxiety when it comes to moving around a country like Italy. I cannot recommend Benvenuto Limos & Private Tours any more highly. Our trip, starting in Rome, ran beautifully starting with airport transportation, to the nighttime golf cart tour Benvenuto recommended (what a blast) to the Colosseum tour to our Vatican and Sistine Chapel tours. And with Amalfi my focus I had neglected to get tickets for the Rome tours. With only 1.5 weeks before our trip, Benvenuto secured us tickets and tour guides. That was amazing! (I could have been in real trouble with my family if we had not had those experiences.) Benvenuto then transported us to Sorrento and picked us up each day to travel us back and forth each day from Sorrento to the little towns across Amalfi. We toured Sorrento and Capri on our own but Benvenuto took us to Amalfi, Ravello, the Emerald Grotto, Positano, to the most wonderful cooking class and then on to an amazing tour of Pompeii ruins. Their drivers, especially owner Giovani, were as polite and professional and as importantly great tour guides in their own right. Italy is amazing but Benvenuto made it sparkle for us.
