Must Do!!

We booked the Copan Ruins tour and ended up booking everything with this company. Nelson and Carolina are amazing. They focus on culture and what the traveler wants to do. I appreciate their attention to detail and safety. Our tour to Hobbitenango, Altamira and Antigua Boreal was amazing. Carolina took her time to explain and is a great photographer as well.

With a top-notch guide, any excursion is great.

I have been lucky to meet Rubén Alonso, who is a guide with excellent knowledge of Guatemalan culture, and he also knows the best places to visit, shop, and enjoy, as well as take great photos. Regarding the excursion, I liked it a lot; I think it is ideal for children or nature lovers and hobbits.

Altamira is a must-see attraction. It is a park that features sculptures of hands, birds, and other objects and is located on a hill overlooking the city of Antigua, offering stunning views of the volcanoes and the valley. The park is a social media paradise, with plenty of photo ops and Instagram-worthy spots. You can climb on the hands, pose with the birds, or enjoy the scenery from different angles. The first hand you'll run into is the highest and offers the best view, but it is not for the faint-hearted, as it is very steep and narrow. If you prefer a more comfortable and safe option, there are more hands as you go on, and they are easier to access and still offer great views. The park is bigger than you would think, so plan to be there for some time, and explore all the corners and hidden gems. You'll have to pay and get a ticket before walking into the area, and the price is reasonable for the experience. One thing to note is that there are a LOT of stairs, so be prepared for a workout 💪

Not as expected

The best part of the trip was the transportation. We had a private, very comfortable shuttle to and from Altamira.
