Amazing experience not to be missed if visiting Almaty
Fascinating insight to Kazakh nomadic history with a wide range of activities. My driver stayed with me for the entire experience and made sure I was looked after and took photos and videos on my phone for me as I was travelling alone. The door to door service in a clean and modern car was also appreciated. Book this tour and you will not be disappointed, it is the best trip I have been on during my time in Central Asia.

Goodbye, Kazakhstan! Essentially Just A Transfer Service in a Run-down Van.
This tour is basically a van transfer service. You would be better off arranging transport to and from the ethno village on your own. We paid $144 per person for group van transfer plus entrance to the village (w lunch). We were picked up in a run-down van w a huge crack along the front window. The driver was on the phone the entire time and was not a steady driver as he kept breaking and accelerating. Perhaps it was because he was on the phone and not concentrating with the driving. We arrived at the village early and had to stand and wait for 30 minutes. A “host” from the agency did try to entertain the group, gave us a souvenir tote bag, taking our photos, and pointing out good photo spots. However, he dissapeared after the first 15 minutes. The people at the village were nice and educated us on Kazakh traditions and a fun horse riding acrobat show. Overall, I would find other ways to book transport to the village if you want to experience kazakh ethnic traditions. At $144 per person, the surcharge and extra service provided was sub-standard. For comparison, I paid $110 per person for a private almaty full day tour with visit to Shymbulak; a personal English speaking guide; and private transport on a Toyota Alphard luxury van with another excellent tour company. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Hello, Kazakhstan! It is not a professionally run company.

Equestrian show quite good at Huns Ethno village.
Driver picked up at hotel on time. Communicated morning of tour through texting on Whats-app. Older van with driver who spoke no English. No guide. After picking up other guests it took about an hour to reach the Huns Etho-Village. The driver bought our tickets at the entrance and motioned that we should return to his vehicle when through. It started at 10:00am and finished at about 1:30pm depending on how long you wanted to stay. The yurt tour, archery and weaving were interesting especially if you had not seen before. The equestrian riding show was quite good. The young performers were excellent. Lunch was good but disorganized. After finding the others we all left about 1:30pm.

Very entertaining
Everything was very well planned: my transfer, the entertainment at the ethnovillage. I really enjoyed the horse riding and watching Kazakh. guys performing tricks. The lunch was very yummy. I highly recommend this tour if you want to know more about Kazakh’s traditions.

The horseback riding show was the best
I have my expectations from this tour already based on the past reviews. And I would say that those expectations are very accurate and it made this experience more fun. So I suggest to read the reviews first. Nurlan was our driver to and from the city and the ethno village. It was just around 40-50minute one-way travel. In the village, they have their own tour guides which will discuss everything and present to you what you should do inside. The flow of the tour was kinda messy at first but it went very nice until the end. That was what the other reviews were pointing out and, for me, it's not the fault of this tour organiser. Nurlan was very nice and even saved us a seat at the front for the horseback riding show (which was very good!). The food was good as well. After eating, we just took a couple more photos and went home. We received a complimentary a bottled water, tote bag and Kazakh chocolate as part of this tour package. The car we rode on was also very nice and luxurious.
