Great day exploring Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur
I booked another tour with Mr Egypt Tours, this time to Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur, and it was another great experience. Lamia was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a simple and interesting way. The day was well organized, we never felt rushed, and we had enough time at each site. Definitely happy I chose them again.

I feel that we have been robbed of some good experience that we have paid for
Mr Hamad Ibrahim was our ‘guide’ for this day tour. I would rate him at best as a mediocre guide. First he does not attempt to past information in an interesting way. When we get to a site, he would give you the most basic information about the sight and then just let you wander round yourself. He was frequently on the phone talking. And when he was asked about information beyond the sight, he bluntly replied that was not his job to go beyond the sight we were visiting e.g. I am here to talk about the Saqqara pyramids, not the Giza’s. When I mentioned the other guides were giving an interesting talk, he was quite agitated and said ‘so you think that mine is not interesting?’ Whilst other guides were actively engaging their clients, he would walk ahead of you. After I intimated that other guides were doing a proper job, he kept asking if I was happy with him instead of try to his job to make me happy. What a guide! Before he departed, he kept asking me to write a review about him, so I am doing it. As a last point, he spent more time talking to the driver in Arabic than to us clients. In summary, I think there are other guides who have more knowledge and a better attitude than Mr Egypt Tours. I don’t know how he managed to get all those 5 stars reviews!!

Hamad is a well educated and respectful person. He treated us like a real family. He knows how to handle situations and safety of his guests and most of all a very honest. Being a first timer in Egypt, I realized that this country offers great opportunities to learn, see with your eyes, feel with your skin and experience the adventures.
