All Inclusive Private Tour to Ephesus, Artemission and Traditional Lunch

Simply the best!

So much history. Our guide, Fuson, fascinated us with her great knowledge of the area. We were so impressed. It is a bit of uneven terrain so wear appropriate shoes. She made sure we were happy with our trip and treated us like friends. A delicious farm to table lunch was had at a local restaurant. It was in the country side so we enjoyed beautiful scenery. Fuson has degree in archaeology. A great asset for a place like Ephesus. It was a great day. I highly recommend this tour.

DISHONEST - DO NOT USE

Nesli took us to a carpet shop she recommended as we left Ephesus. I negotiated a carpet (cotton on cotton which was the least expensive composition). From $2,000 to $1,100. She told me it was a “good deal.” We wanted to buy a watch, so before leaving us in the market place she took us to “her friend” who wanted $700. I found the same size carpet - only silk-on-silk (the most expensive composition) for $360 and the watch for $250. She got 5% of the money for which I was scammed! NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!

You gave her your cell number, personal email and your address in Florida. She may visit you when she comes to Florida. She said that 2.000 was retail price. 1.100 was wholesale price. If you were not happy with it, you could easilly return it to get your money back. You were still close to port and purchased item was in your bag. It is under their guarantee. If you still want to return it, you may contact with them or you may contact with Nesli It is not possible to get handmade carpet for 360 anywhere in the world. It does not important which metarial is used for it. You are saying that it was handmade silk on silk . This is imposible. There are machine made bamboo carpets sold by some shops in the city center. They look like silk till you touch them. After you touch them, you understand the huge difference. I do not know if they guarantee full refund for their carpets The owner of TWIN Watches is friend’s of Nesli. I know him for many years. They are in business for more than 30 years in the same shop. They sell fake watches. It is written in front of their shop in very big labels It is not possible to find same fake watches in Kusadasi. Their watches are much better quality than almost all the other stores in Kusadasi and of course the price reflects the higher quality. Private tour Ephesus, Artemission and Mary’s Shrine.

Melis our tour guide was very friendly & knowledgeable. The private tour means you can do it at your pace. The Ephesus tour was fabulous, this is a UNESCO, World Heritage Site, the quality of what remains makes you feel you’ve been to the past. Start at top gate, walk down, it’s about an hour through, sensible shoes, I did slip once on marble slab but it’s not difficult just take care, I’m 63, did it in trainers. We went to a small restaurant (Kelube) for a traditional lunch, it was fabulous. We also visited a pottery, had made, fabulous items but pricey as hand made. I would have like to have been asked if I wanted to do this stop as it felt a bit pressured to our base goods. The handmade hand painted took weeks to make hence the cost but I didn’t expect this part of tour so would discuss shopping stops next trip, in case I don’t want to do. Altogether excellent day trip. Thank you Melis and driver too.

Great day out to Ephesus

We were greeted at hotel at 9am, the mini bus was comfortable and had ACon. The tour guide for the day and driver were both excellent. The Ancient City of Ephesus, was the highlight of the tour but we also enjoyed the other stops. Buy the book with the overlays from the shops ‘Ephesus Past & Present , excellent publication. We took the top gate and walked down, need sensible shoes but not dangerous, group 3x 62-67 & 12 year old. Really gave a great onsite to how people lived in the ancient city and how they benefitted from hot water for baths, toilets and water retainers. Altogether a really enjoyable day, wear a hat, sunscreen but don’t be afraid to do the hours walk. I would have like a business card with names on as I can’t spell names for feedback but thank you for our day, very informative. Would recommend seeing the ancient city.

Best guide in Turkey!

Our guide Tan was the very best. He let us have our experience at our own pace. History is more my wife's thing, however he was able to keep everything entertaining. He even guided is through the process of haggling in the shops. Another couple we were with also had a great guide.
