The Temple of Artemis or Artemision, also known as the Temple of Diana, was a Greek temple dedicated to an ancient, local form of the goddess Artemis (associated with Diana, a Roman goddess). It was located in Ephesus. It was completely rebuilt twice, once after a devastating flood and three hundred years later after an act of arson, and in its final form was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. By 401 AD it had been ruined or destroyed. Only foundations and fragments of the last temple remain at the site.

Excellent Ephesus Tour!
Ercument was an excellent tour guide for our small group. Highly knowledgeable and wonderful conversation. He met us at the cruise ship dock in a modern air conditioned van and we toured Ephesus, a family owned ceramics shop, Turkish rug coop where we saw a demo of silk spinning and traditional rug making by hand, and also visited a local market where we sampled homemade baklava and figs and more. The tour was comfortable and finished off with a beautiful lunch with traditional Turkish cuisine. A day well spent in Kusadasi.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that Ercument provided an exceptional tour for your group. It sounds like you had a wonderful time exploring the rich culture and history of Ephesus, from the ancient ruins to the hands-on experiences with local artisans. We're glad you enjoyed the comfortable transportation, the delicious homemade treats, and the traditional Turkish lunch. Your feedback means the world to us, and we hope to welcome you back to Kusadasi for another memorable adventure in the future! Safe travels!

A great day on the Ephesus tour
We had a great day on our tour. Our guide Ender was wonderful. He speaks excellent English and was very knowledgeable about all of our sites visited. Also he was flexible in arranging our day to what interested us the most. He offered some great suggestions and gave us time for pictures at all the sites. We visited St John’s tomb, House of Mary and Ephesus. We also had a great lunch and a visit to a ceramics shop. We would highly recommend a tour with this company and specifically with Ender.
Response from the operator: Dear guest, thank you very much for your valuable review. We are truly delighted and honored to learn that you had a wonderful experience in Turkey. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Best regards.

Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Experience!
When I say perfect, I mean perfect. The communication, customer service, and overall experience were exceptional. Our host guide was incredible, providing us with all the information we wanted and even things we didn't know we needed. His knowledge left me in awe. We had to customize our plans before and during the trip due to health issues with a couple in our group, and he handled everything with remarkable gentleness and care. Additionally, we arranged a last-minute water park visit for some group members, and they managed our challenging group without a single complaint. I am immensely grateful for this company and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.
Response from the operator: Dear guest, thank you very much for your valuable review. We are truly delighted and honored to learn that you had a wonderful experience in Turkey. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Best regards.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kusadasi.
How much does All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi cost?
+
Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kusadasi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kusadasi is not rushed.
Is All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kusadasi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kusadasi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kusadasi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does All Inclusive Private Ephesus Shore Excusion in Kusadasi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kusadasi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kusadasi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kusadasi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour with ENTRY TICKET+LUNCH, Ephesus Temple of Artemis and House of Mary Private Half Day Tour, Ephesus and Temple of Artemis Private Tour from Kusadasi Port. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kusadasi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kusadasi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
