It was constructed in the year 1656, and around 5000 workers helped build it. This mosque is located right in front of the fancy 'Red Fort' where the royals used to live. It's in the middle of a place called Chandni Chowk.

You can't miss this super tall tower that looks like the ones in Afghanistan. A long time ago, a ruler named Sultan Qutb-ud-din wanted to show he was in charge, so he built this really high tower. It has five parts and special balconies that stick out. On the tower, there are designs made of sandstone with words from the holy Quran book.
