    Interactive Driver!

Larry is a great driver and guide to have when visiting Beijing! He waited for us at the airport with a sign and we had a quick exit out of the airport. Larry gave great recommendations such as; places to eat, the Kung Fu show, and souvenir shops. Larry has great English and provided commentary to significant places in Beijing. He is well organized and knowledgeable, leading to an overall great experience!

    The Best!

We were in China over spring break and used Larry for touring Beijing and The Great Wall. He is amazing and our trip would not have been the same if we did not have him guiding us around, taking us to awesome local restaurants and telling us about history and culture. Our experience in Shanghai was not as good, sadly with a different company. Do not hesitate to book him, you will not regret it. He speaks great English, is funny and patient and is more of a friend showing you around than a boring tour guide. He was punctual, organized and had an impeccable new vehicle, totally went along with our crazy ideas of eating crazy food and leaving super early for the great wall and even had a professional camera he used to take millions of pictures of us (I have teenage girls, so there are never enough pictures) Reach out to me if you have any questions, but so happy to recommend this business, wish there were more like him in the world.

Fantastic tour guide & an amazing day out

We booked this tour with Larry in the last minute, it was very well organized and easy to coordinate logistics. The hotel pick-up was easy and the trip was comfortable and better than we had expected. Larry was very accommodating and helpful answering all our questions and taking our pictures to! We had an amazing time and I would re-book again and recommend this tour guide for people who are going to Beijing to see the Great Wall for the first time. Larrys English was fantastic and overall the tour was brilliant!

    Larry is a class act!

Don't waste your time with anyone else. Larry is professional, knowledgable and organized! He picked us 6 travelers up from our hotel in Beijing and took us to the Great Wall. He helped us navigate the ticketing process to get up the chairlift at Mutianyu, and even gave us fans as souvenirs when the tour was over! I'd trust him to take me anywhere in China!

All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Beijing.

How much does All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Beijing usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Beijing is not rushed.

Is All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Beijing, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Beijing can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Beijing and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does All-Inclusive Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Beijing within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Beijing?

    +

On Outty we rank every Beijing experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mubus: Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour with Summer Palace Options, Beijing: Top 6 Highlights All Inclusive 2-Day Private Tour, Private Mutianyu Great Wall Trip With English-Speaking Driver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Beijing?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Beijing?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
