Perfect Day Trip from Kyoto: Amanohashidate, Kono Shrine & Fishing Village
A truly packed and perfectly organized day! We were picked up on time in the morning and comfortably driven to Amanohashidate. On the way, our guide shared fascinating facts about the Tango region and the history of the “Bridge to Heaven”—it was great to hear the stories and then see the places in real life. We took the ropeway up to the viewpoint—the panorama over the sandbar and the whole valley was absolutely fantastic, one of the best views of our entire Japan trip. After that came a thrilling high-speed boat ride and a visit to the serene, atmospheric Motoise Kono Jinja (丹後一ノ宮 元伊勢 籠神社). The grounds are beautifully maintained and full of history. Our final stop was an incredible fishing village with boathouse homes right on the water. A short cruise along the shoreline let us get close, take in all the details, and capture great photos. Special praise for the logistics: tickets, ropeway, and boat rides were all included and flawlessly arranged, with a comfortable pace and no rushing. If you want to see unique spots beyond Kyoto in a single day, this tour truly is all-inclusive and worth every hour. Highly recommended!

Amanohashidate trip
A very pleasant trip, we visited many different atmospheric places. The trip included sightseeing on foot, by boat and by car. It was very well organised and the guide was very nice, organised and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back :)

A comfortable day trip
I invited my friends to go to this tour together as they are new to Japan. We all enjoyed the whole day visiting the scenic sites of Amanohashidate and Ine Village. Even for me who have been to both places, there were hidden spots and unknown cultural history I discovered during the tour. The car ride was pleasant and saved so much time compared to using public transport. There were free times to enjoy for ourselves and the guide gave us so many tips to make the best of our time. The boat rides in both Amanohashidate (speed boat) and Ine (feeding seagulls) gave us different and memorable experiences. I highly recommend this tour to see the other side of Kyoto in a comfortable and time-saving way.
