    A great day

The entire experience was incredible. We were taken to places we would never have found in own. Maria was awesome, full of great stories and enough history to keep us engaged. We have been fortunate to take many tours and she was truly the best guide we have had.

Crete Olive Oil Tour, Monastery & Fortress

Maria was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable about the island’s history, culture, and industry. We were never bored. We enjoyed the tour and the many spots we visited. We enjoyed our lunch and snacks, especially, her special gift from her own kitchen. We opted for a traditional lunch without a stop at a winery. We are not big wine connoisseurs. Lunch was so much food. Come hungry. Don’t eat before the tour! She even made a special stop to the Old Venetian Port in Chania. We can’t thank Maria enough for the wonderful tour. Would recommend.

    Wonderful Tour Guide

We visited Crete back in June and booked a two-day tour with the lovely Maria. What a joy she was to work with. First, she communicated with us before the trip asking for our preferences and what we were looking for during the tour. She was extremely flexible when we had a delay. She took us around the Chania region and then to Heraklion. She made restaurant recommendations and even helped us find a local guide in Heraklion for the Knossos visit. Her mom made us sandwiches for the day trip. She was a wealth of knowledge and shared her passion and love for Crete, it's rich history and traditions. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with her.

    Crete.

Had to ask a lot of question to understand the culture. The spots we visited were awesome how ever we did not learn a lot about the Crete island and the 4 different areas of Crete. The winery was awesome.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the places we visited and especially the winery. I’m sorry that the cultural information during the day did not feel as complete as you expected. I always try to balance sharing local stories and information with giving my guests the time and freedom to enjoy each place at their own pace. I truly appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind. It was a pleasure having your group with us in Crete.

How much does All Inclusive Full-day Private Tour of Crete Villages from Chania cost?

    +

Prices start at $291 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chania usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does All Inclusive Full-day Private Tour of Crete Villages from Chania take?

    +

Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chania is not rushed.

Is All Inclusive Full-day Private Tour of Crete Villages from Chania worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 93 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chania, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule All Inclusive Full-day Private Tour of Crete Villages from Chania?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is All Inclusive Full-day Private Tour of Crete Villages from Chania suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book All Inclusive Full-day Private Tour of Crete Villages from Chania?

    +

Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chania can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chania and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Chania?

    +

On Outty we rank every Chania experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cretan Safari – 4x4 Adventure to Preveli Beach with Lunch, Elafonisi & Falasarna Small Group Tour from Chania w/snacks, Half-Day Rethymno Quad Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Chania?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Chania?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
