Be sure you get your change back!
The actual beach experience is good, but the wait to get the group together in the bus was around 40 minutes, first leaders were not ready, second they wait for all the late arrivals delaying everyone else. Be sure you ask for your change back straight away otherwise they are likely to “forget “ it or pretending it’s a joke and take it as a tip.

Great Experience!
Pick up was 20 min late but that is not bad colombia time. Bus was bit old but clean. Jesus was accommodating as I was the only non Spanish speaking. Communication was great. They had unlimited specific cocktails between 10 am to 12 noon which was unexpected but great. The place was clean. Cleaner than the other places nearby. If u want a relaxing beach experience this not for you. Jetskis and boats are not regulated. Water is nice. Day beds are a bonus. This a great value for money. Only downside was the fish lunch was not fresh. Could be an isolated case for me. In case just ask for a replacement and they will accommodate. Arrived around 9 ish and left around 3 pm. This is a much better deal compared to another tour i took 2 days ago the same beach for the same price.

Worst Tour I’ve Had
Completely disorganised as most of these tours around Cartagena seem to be. Tour description said we were leaving at 7:30 and no one contacted us with pick up arrangements the night before. Despite messaging and calling the company (their opening times say they are open from 8am) but clearly not! Finally at 9am I received a message that someone was outside ready to pick us up?! The beach was crowded, lots of flies and bugs, obnoxiously loud music and many stray animals. The highlight of my day was the food. The staff were nice enough. The worst tour I’ve had on this app and trip advisor were not any use in helping - all they did was email them.

Don’t book!!!
It’s 2 hours on a bus to the beach. There’s no boat. It’s not worth it!!! The guide literally man spread the entire ride and the bus barely has AC. They also wait until you’re on the bus stuck and tell you it’s 150000 for a chair. There’s no where in the description that says that and we didn’t have enough cash. Spend the extra money and get an ACTUAL boat tour. Meeting at the port was so deceiving. And the description is deceiving. There is a 2 hour transfer from Cartagena they drive you to Isla baru. I wish this was explained to us we wasted a whole day. Don’t book. The drive was so long and bumpy there was people throwing up. It’s. Not. Worth. It. I wish I could literally have the time back. Only 2 days in Cartagena so it was such a waste.

Good for the price.
Very long day. Pick up was hectic tons of people in a open area many different groups looking for their guide. Bring shoes for a little hike to the beach it rained so it was muddy and slippery. Very nice beach super pricey drinks. Lunch that was provided was great! Days beds 5/10 bring a cover or towels to use on them. Lots of flys almost unbearable around the day beds. Bus ride was nice charger ports available on bus. The massage ladies and beach sellers are allowed to walk right up to your day bed and bother you for sales got old after a while. 6 hrs at the beach is a lot most seemed ready to go before that time. Beautiful beach!!

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cartagena.
How much does All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cartagena usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cartagena is not rushed.
Is All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 731 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cartagena, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena?
+
Around 256 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cartagena can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cartagena and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does All-inclusive beach tour from Cartagena start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cartagena within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cartagena?
+
On Outty we rank every Cartagena experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cartagena Street Food Tour: 10 Local Tastings in the Walled City, Historic Center & Getsemaní Shared Tour in Cartagena, Cartagena Cooking Class with Local Chef (Small Group Experience). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cartagena?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cartagena?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
