Great explanations for each of the many points, but somewhat boring.

Tour was quite boring but did a good job at explaining each area that we drove through. There were not enough recommendations for places to stop, and no indication of how far the next turn point was, and some of these turns came up very quickly, sometimes causing us to miss them.

Response from the operator: Thanks for the review, Robert! It's unusual to hear the tours are boring since they're packed with info. To help us improve, can you let us know which specific audio tour you felt this way about? The bundle covers over ten across Hawaii, so pinpointing which would be helpful. If it wasn't your thing, no worries, we can get you a refund. Just shoot us a message ASAP to get that sorted.

Was a good starting point to our week

The guide was good, I only used it on the first day. Forgot to turn it on when we drove to the Hilo side of the big island.

Response from the operator: Hey Holly, thrilled to hear my All Hawaii Self Audio Tour served as a good kickstarter for your week! Bummer about forgetting to turn it on for your drive to the Hilo side, but I’m glad you found the guide helpful for when you did use it. For future road trips and explorations, you might want to check out my Action+ Tour Bundle. It’s packed with over 100 self-guided tours, including my Hawaii adventures.

    Disappointed

We were disappointed with this app. The starting point for Maui is in the middle of a random residential area in Kahului, not relavent to anything on the tours. The map didn't pop-up consistently and the queues to turn were difficult to follow. It does share some interesting historical data along the way....if you can follow it.

Response from the operator: I appreciate the feedback, CHERYL. To clarify, all the tours in the bundle start near the airport – that's by design for ease of access right when you land. Using the "Take me to the Starting Point" feature should guide you there seamlessly. For the best experience, following the given route lets the stories play automatically. Are you going off-route? The manual play's an option, though it's trickier while driving. Remember, your purchase doesn't expire. Want to enjoy the tales from your couch or explore another location? Holler, and we can chat about exchanging or refunding from our vast collection. Here's to more adventure-filled journeys ahead!

    Set your own pace

The self drive audio tour is great for setting your own pace and focusing on the areas that you want to see on each Hawaiian island.

Response from the operator: Yay! Thank you so much Jean! That flexibility is one of the best features of my self-guided tour. I’m glad you had a great time in Hawaii with my tour. If you plan to travel more, you may like my Action+ Tour Bundle (it has all of my self-guided tours, over 100). Thanks again!

    IT NEVER WORKED!

waste of time and money even if it was only $29.00. It did not work and only gave us numerical coordinates. They would start an automated story about history when we were not even in the location .

Response from the operator: Hi Michelle, we’re always available to help with such issues! Please contact ASAP over call, chat, or email (contact links are in the instructions e-mail, download screen, and app menu). I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US — I will exchange this tour with my other 100 tours. Also, to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.

All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kauai.

How much does All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle cost?

    +

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kauai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle take?

    +

Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kauai is not rushed.

Is All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kauai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kauai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kauai and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does All Hawaiian Islands Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour Bundle start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kauai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kauai?

    +

Kauai sells Na Pali Coast boat and helicopter tours, Waimea Canyon drives, tubing through old plantation ditches and Hanalei kayak trips. Ocean conditions shut down the north shore boat runs in winter, so cancellation terms matter. On Outty we rank every Kauai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Koloa Zipline in Kauai, Kauai: NaPali Boat Tour on the Amelia K, Kauai: Secret Falls Kayak and Hike. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kauai?

    +

April to June and September to October, with calmest seas in summer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kauai?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
