Cholula & Puebla historic sights tour
The tour goes around some of the historic sights in Cholula and Puebla. The guide was great, full of information. The transport from CDMX was comfortable and smooth and a lunch stop was provided

Highly recommended for a quick overview of Puebla
Puebla is an amazing city and definitely deserves more than just a day trip, but if you are short on time, this was an excellent tour than gave plenty of time to at least see the major highlights. Ruben was a superb guide, very knowledgeable and informative, and bounced back and forth easily from Spanish to English for our bilingual group. The buffet lunch in Puebla was very good, and there was plenty of time for you to eat elsewhere on your own if you'd prefer. The stops in Cholula along the way were also very interesting and beautiful. We were lucky to have clear weather for seeing the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccíhuatl - and amazing sight. And Moises was a great driver as well! Highly recommended, particularly for the inexpensive price.

Be sure you know the pick...
Be sure you know the pick up time from your hotel. If you are late, even if it’s not your fault, they are not going to wait. You will have to find your own ride to the next meeting point.

Cholula and Puebla Day Tour
Initial communication was fine. On day of pick up I was told to be ready by 8:05 am. No one showed up. I finally called and was told that there was a delay. I was finally picked up at 9:35 by an Uber driver who did not park at the hotel. He parked across the street and waited. I happened to notice the color and license plate and walked over. After speaking to a busload of people, most of us were picked up late. This is a tour company who has been in business for a while, they can do better. No one was advised that their pick up will be late. I know they were busy but they need to be more organized. While I was waiting in the cold, I didn't know if I was forgotten until I called. I also had no time for breakfast. We arrived after 1 pm in Cholula and then everything was rushed for the rest of the day. Lunch at 4 pm. We spent less time in Puebla and was ready to leave by 6 pm. Very disappointing day due to the late start. Everyone was very hungry by the time we had lunch at 4. There was also an issue with translation. At our first venue in Cholula, the guide only spoke Spanish so no translation in English. The other guide who spoke English had something else to do. I don't under why they did not switch. I only tip the driver. This is the first time I did not tip the guides. Cholula and Puebla are beautiful and I wish we had more time walk around.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.
How much does All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City cost?
+
Prices start at $84 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.
Is All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does All-Day Cholula & Puebla Tour from Mexico City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mexico City?
+
On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mexico City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
