Mainly relaxing
Good balcony views and comfy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi-bathtub which was really suited for relaxing. Balcony wasnt the cleanest but still an ok place to chill Food was amazing (breakfast & lunch was buffet, dinner 5-course meal). For dinner the shrimp dishes were replaced with other foods for me since I have an allergy. Waiters&waitresses were polite but werent very proficient in english, plus they kept offering to remove our plates despite having our utensils in the resting position. Excursions were fun but timeframe given was somewhat too short. If you plan to do kayaking just know you might get a little wet.

Wonderful time
I have had a wonderful time with Alisa Premier Cruise. The outdoor activities were fun, the staff are so nice, and food is good. The staff willing cook special food for my child because my son didn't feel well without any charge. Thanks Crew. If you have a change to visit HA LONG Viet Nam. I recommend Alisa Premier Cruise. Very Disappointing
Firstly, Halong Bay is a very commercialised tourist trap which I personally think is very overrated. However having visited 15 years ago as a couple we decided to return with our kids so they could see it themselves. So I tried to find a good boat and I think I booked Alisa based on the reviews I saw. In reality it was very disappointing however. We got 2 rooms adjoining but the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The food was only ok and the excursions were basic compared to others I have seen since through friends. The 4 of us could not wait to get off. The staff are all lovely and normally I wouldn’t leave a bad review but I really felt ripped off for what we paid, which was obviously way too much. Not only was the food average but the drinks were overpriced - the cheapest bottle of wine was US$70 (for a wine that could be purchased for 10% of that). If you must visit Halong bay and you want a high-end experience, this is not the option for you. This is probably the equivalent of a 2* or 3* hotel.
