Alexandria Day Trip

Heba and Mohamed Fathy made the best experience possible - just watch out for changes in a message from the company
Heba and Mohamed Fathy were a dream team for a tour! Heba was so knowledgeable at every single site and floored me with her ability to make us excited at every site. She was able to connect different historical figures and sites together, she figured out our vibe fast and was just a joy to spend the day with. I truly felt at every location I was getting a story I would actually remember and be able to tell my friends about. In addition she gave us moments alone to enjoy the beauty of where we were, took incredible photos for us, and managed to find a restaurant to accommodate my husband and I’s different appetite as well as find a restaurant that had a view of Greek/Egyptian historical site AND a view of the sea! She was the best tour guide I’ve had in Egypt. Mohamed was also spectacular, gorgeous car, smooth driving, and even went and grabbed us water. He was awesome. My only complaint was with the booking company itself, they sent a bunch of long texts that contained a change in our tour time and never confirmed that I saw the change. They instead focused on trying to sell me a different service. But Heba and Mohamed were such a joy that by the time we got to the first site I completely forgot.

Great!
Good choice to see the city, and the tourist guide had knowledge, and was punctual and kind, I recommend it!!!

Nice overview of what to see in Alexandria
The tourguide, Heba, was really nice and flexible. She made our trip as nice as possible. We could do visits not included in the trip by ourselves (and at our own expences) while she waited patiently. And as we had a driver we did not have to worry about traffic at all!

Amazone tour of city of Alexandria
I would like to express my deep satisfaction with the excellent organization of this outing. The driver, Ehab, was very kind and drove safely, which immediately put us at ease. Our guide, Heba, demonstrated remarkable professionalism: she took the time to explain the city’s history and its key monuments with clarity and passion, making the visit both informative and captivating. I highly recommend Heba for her teaching skills and dedication, and Ehab for his reliability behind the wheel. Many thanks to the whole team for this exceptional day — we were truly amazed and now have a much deeper understanding of the historical development of Alexandria. Kind regards, Mr Dacosta

Why this scores 86
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Alexandria Full Day Trip: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Alexandria.
How much does Alexandria Full Day Trip cost?
+
Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Alexandria usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Alexandria Full Day Trip take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Alexandria is not rushed.
Is Alexandria Full Day Trip worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 276 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Alexandria, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Alexandria Full Day Trip?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Alexandria Full Day Trip suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Alexandria Full Day Trip?
+
Around 97 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Alexandria can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Alexandria and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Alexandria Full Day Trip start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Alexandria within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Alexandria?
+
On Outty we rank every Alexandria experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, Alexandria Full Day Tour, All inclusive private Giza pyramids,Sphinx & highlights of Cairo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Alexandria?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Alexandria?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
