Not the best not the worse
We really enjoyed the boat party! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The music was good if you like house and tecno. Important to bear in mind though that it is cash only, no shot pours were included even though it stated there would be. Also there was no games or interaction with other passengers and the two free drinks is technically one large drink or two small ones and the choices are only sangria, wine and beer. Also the after party never happened they just dropped us off on the strip and that was it. Overall we had a good time but that’s because we made sure we did, despite these small issues, it wasn’t a bad trip and we would probably recommend to groups if you wanna get out and enjoy the sea and sun.

Terrible
Avoid at all costs. Refused entry because we had three separate bookings, still have not been refunded yet.

Even if the reservation was made for more than 5 people, it’s still necessary to contact directly AlgarExperience to validate the booking. If this procedure is not followed, AlgarExperience reserves the right to cancel the booking within 12h prior to the experience. If the reservation is booked for less than 12h from the experience, the validation will take place at check-in time.”. Regarding this information we have noticed at the check-in that you made 3 reservations, for a total of 13 people, and just like the information written on the tickets, every customer consents to follow the restrictions and/or conditions that the company might have. We have proceeded with the refund for your reservation on the 14th of July, on the same day that you booked the activity, and we clearly informed you that since the booking was made with a 3rd party company it would take from 5-7 business days to receive the total amount on your bank account. Cancelled on arrival!
We booked the Sunset beach BBQ for 16 people, continuously emailed and spoke over the phone to ensure this was ok. They initially advised no bigger groups than 5. It was then decided by the manager we were able to book for 16 men between age of 30-70 (with all names provided) and were happy to leave a further security deposit alongside a passport. This was agreed to be ok and we paid the full balance over a month before the trip. We arrived at the office at 5pm to board the boat for our tour to be told that we are unable to board as we did not have a mixed group of male/female. I tried to advise that we had all the emails confirming this was ok for this occasion. There was no talking to the people behind the desk who simply said we could not board. Refund to be provided by 3-5 working days. Simply not good enough, avoid this company like the plague. Shocking customer service and change their minds like the weather!!!

If the reservation is booked for less than 12h from the experience, the validation will take place at check-in time.” Once you arrived at the reception, the manager came out to explain you the reason why AlgarExperience could not accept the booking, and you totally agreed with the refund even though that we suggested you other activities where there are no groups restrictions. As explained personally, whenever we have groups bigger than 5 people, we cannot guarantee the quality of our services for activities where it involves bigger logistics, since we want to promote an excellence customer service experience giving attention to all customer’s needs. The boat party was the highlight of my trip
It was awesome. The first hour people just wait in line for the drinks and socialize. By the 2nd and 3rd hour everybody is loosed up and dancing. This was by far the highlight of my trip to Portugal. We danced for hours and the sunset was really cool. No complaints at all!

Pre booked 5 tickets weeks in advance. Upon arrival we were not given tickets as "the group was too large". The staff were very unhelpful. Would not reccomend. Shocking stuff, keep it 👏
