Akihabara tour
We had a very friendly Scottish family to show around Akihabara. It was very hot, we spent most of the time in the arcade. The best thing was that Ryan showed me many photos with famous boxing world champions in different places and we talked about 70s WBA light weight world champion Ken Buchanan who is Scottish. Then I saw a punching game so I recommend Ryan to hit the ball. As he was a boxer , he gave some pretty good punches. 2 daughters and mum seemed to be enjoying the games as well . So I really had a good time with them.

Anime shopping
Highly recommend. Yui and Yuki were very knowledgeable and friendly. They tailored the tour to our interests and provided great recommendations on other spots to hit on our own.

A Geek Dream Come True 🤓
Our Akihabara Anime Shopping and Karaoke Bar Adventure was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of our entire trip to Japan and absolutely our best decision was booking it with Enrich Your Travel Japan. From the very beginning, everything felt seamless. Our guide, Yui, found us easily at the meeting point at Akihabara Station, and from that moment on we knew we were about to live one of the best days of our lives. If you are passionate about geek culture, anime, manga, and collectibles, this tour is simply perfect. Walking through the vibrant streets of Akihabara with a knowledgeable local guide made all the difference. Yui knew exactly where to take us to find the best action figures at the best prices. To give you an idea: I had seen the same figure near the station for almost 5,000 yen, and thanks to her, we found it for just 2,500 yen at a shopping complex she brought us to. That alone made the tour worth it! She also took us to several game centers, where we had so much fun playing and even managed to win some plushies, which made the experience even more exciting! On top of that, I asked her if she knew a good store that sold Pokémon cards, and she brought me to the perfect place. We bought several booster packs to open later, and that added an extra layer of anticipation and fun to the day. Instead of going to the karaoke bar, we chose to visit a Maid Café, which was much more our style and something we were truly excited to experience. It was fun, unique, and such a memorable cultural moment. The entire tour lasted around 3.5 to 4 hours, and honestly, the time flew by because we were enjoying ourselves so much. It was immersive, personalized, and absolutely perfect for anyone who truly loves geek culture. We adored every single moment, it was super fun, exciting, and completely unforgettable!

Japanese anime neighborhood
Exploring Akihabara was a simply amazing experience! Known as the neighborhood of anime and otaku culture in Tokyo, the place is a true immersion in the Japanese geek universe. Walking through the streets lit up by colorful signposts, full of electronics stores, mangas, figures and exclusive products from famous anime, makes you feel inside a movie or drawing setting. It was super interesting to know more closely this so striking part of Japanese culture not only the anime and manga, but also the lifestyle, customs and creativity that encompasses all this. Akihabara is also famous for its maid cafes and themed shops that make the neighborhood even more unique and different from anywhere else in the world. The tour with the guide made all the difference. She explained every detail, told curiosities, indicated special places and brought a cultural context that made the experience even richer. It was a fun and engaging way to learn, understand and live Japan beyond the obvious. Without a doubt, it was a remarkable experience, full of colours, culture and discoveries!
