Akamas National Park & Avakas Gorge Tour from Paphos

Super Mario, Super Safari, Super Sensational!!!

We did some research locally about Paphos and area tours and we were justified in selecting The Super Team Safari Group from the moment that our driver & tour guide, Mario, welcomed us at our pickup location with his endearing smile and Las Vegas worthy stand-up comedy humor. Mario reset our itinerary after assessing the needs of our group (we were 3 completely different couples from 3 different countries) and his expert choices of when to visit each location to avoid overcrowding and provide us with a more intimate experience was as veteran and client-focused a move as we have ever seen on pre-booked tours that we've done across our travels these last 3 years. Stunning views combined with Mario's deep and insightful knowledge of the terrain and the "tourist spots" on the tour were without equal in my opinion. Add to that a killer musical playlist blasting all the way around the island and perfect comedic "one-liners" from Mario sprinkled in between as playfully as if we were all back in Grade School made the entire excursion phenomenal and exceptional on multiple levels. Thank you to our excursion mates, Hans and Herda from Holland & Paul and Julie from the UK, for enhancing the experience for us by contributing to the humour and spirit of the day. Lastly, thank you Super Mario for reminding us why it's important to do your research in advance, to sometimes trust the smaller, locally-owned and operated companies in the hopes of exchanging excursion fees for added-value service, and for taking "Don't Worry, Be Happy" to 10+ levels with your "joie de vivre" personality and free-spiritedness. More than just a Tour - an unforgettable day :)

Mario and his tour deserve more than 5 stars! The route, the timing, and especially Mario himself were absolutely perfect. I had such a wonderful day, and I was also incredibly lucky with the people in our group – the amazing group dynamic really was the cherry on top! Mario created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere throughout the whole day. I especially loved that he made an effort to learn everyone’s name and genuinely created a sense of togetherness within the group. He was always in a great mood, made us laugh a lot, but at the same time impressed us with his knowledge about Cyprus and the island. You can really tell that he puts his heart into what he does. The organisation was also excellent. We had just the right amount of time at every stop and never felt rushed. Overall, it was such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Thank you so much, Mario! I genuinely couldn’t recommend this tour enough. I may have even shed a little tear when saying goodbye because, after such a long and wonderful day together, I was actually a little sad that it had to end. Thank you for making this day so special!

“The Super Team” isn’t just a name - but a fact!

That was by far one of the best organized tours I’ve ever been on! I genuinely enjoyed every single moment of the itinerary, and the group was absolutely lovely. But the real star of the tour was definitely Mario!!! He kept us entertained, engaged, and well informed throughout the entire drive. His knowledge, energy, and incredible ability to time everything perfectly so we could avoid the crowds made such a huge difference to the experience. Everything was so well planned, it never felt rushed. You could really tell how much thought and experience went into making the day run smoothly. Highly recommended! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We had such a great experience. Mario was great, he had high spirits, keept us entertained all the way through and made it really fun. Next time we come i would definitely book with him only.

Fabulous trip

Prompt pick up from hotel, I was introduced to everyone already aboard the jeep by Mario who was a superb driver and guide. Every step of the way he was informative and fun, ensuring we were all ok and aware of where we were going and times that we were moving on. He took photos for me and played great music during the trip. This was my first solo trip and he made sure I was ok I would definitely recommend and will probably go again next year. Thank you Mario for a great day x
