Great fun!

Amit our guide was full of energy & very knowledgeable. Good fun too! We hopped on the metro, walked the busy streets & alleyways, jumped on & off TukTuk’s. Saw some real India. Recommended.

Not a positive experience..

The description says pickup is included. This meant the guide would greet us at the hotel and then ask us to pay for a tuk tuk to the start location. All in all the walk lasted for less than an hour. We visited a mosque and were asked to pay for a man to look after our shoes for less than 10 mins. We were taken through a crazy market full of honking vehicles and gridlocked traffic with people. The guide said little during the way other than lead us through the horrific traffic. We did not learn anything about the history of the place or anything remotely interesting. We made our way back after the tour but not before the guide offered his services the next day. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. Honestly waste of time and money. Not sure where all the previous positive reviews came from. We have been on lots of guided tours in the past and we have lots to compare this tour with. This was not a good tour. Tip to the organiser to improve the experience - arrange a meeting point that is central which can be accessed easily, when you advertise "pick up in included" this means that the person should be picked up from the location, consider telling people much more about the history of the place and engage the customer by asking questions, simply pointing to something in a market and saying "this is the wedding section" is not enough, any costs that need to be spent by the guest needs to be mentioned in the booking upfront and finally if the tour is advertised as 2-3 hours then it should be 2-3 hours and not 50 mins.

Response from the operator: Dear Sir, We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, as we always strive to provide enriching and immersive tours. It's the 1st time in 6 years that we got a 1-star review. The guide is deeply sorry as well. We will not be using him until he gets better. We had an internal meeting to discuss this and the guide is very sorry as well. He is a new team member but that doesn't give us an excuse for this. For the pick-and-drop, there was confusion we always include the payments for the vehicle. We will be happy to refund that. For the payment at the mosque, its not mandatory and it's 10/20 rupees as charity to the guy. We know this was a fault from our guide and if you would have contacted at that time, we would have offered a better experience! Wish to serve you in future.

Great view of Agra History & Agra life today

Ritik was a great guide full of insights from the origins of Agra to the present day. We strolled through markets, visited a Shiva Temple and saw some wonderful handicraft art. Ritik gives a great feel if the city, what it is like to live here today and what some of his favorite places are. We talked about weddings, fashion, food and mogul kings and dynasties and the art of driving in Agra! If you really want to feel at home in Agra and love history, culture and the city experience would really recommend this tour. Thank you Ritik for great fun and conversation along the way …

Easy and efficient.

A really simple and easy walking your around the Agra station and Mosque. Ritik was easy company (and restored my faith back in guides of Agra) he was very knowledgeable of the history of this region. A little bit of everything in this short trip; a spicy drive, tasty refreshments, some mixed hidden temple time, and just easy conversation. We almost blended in, and I loved it.

Agra Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Agra.

How much does Agra Walking Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Agra usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Agra Walking Tour take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Agra is not rushed.

Is Agra Walking Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 109 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Agra, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Agra Walking Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Agra Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Agra Walking Tour?

+

Around 38 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Agra can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Agra and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Agra Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Agra within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Agra?

+

On Outty we rank every Agra experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Taj Mahal Sunrise and Agra Fort Skip the Line Tour, Taj Mahal Skip-the-Line Guided Tour with Multiple Options, Agra: Private Sunrise Taj Mahal & Agra City Tour":. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Agra?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Agra?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
