About this experience
Agra is amply evident from the numerous historical monuments in and around the city. Though the history of Agra city is linked with the Mughal dynasty, numerous other rulers also contributed to the rich history of Agra. Agra was founded by Sikandar Lodhi (Lodhi dynasty; Delhi Sultanate) in the 16th century. Babur (founder of the Mughal dynasty) also stayed for sometime in Agra and introduced the concept of square Persian-styled gardens here. Emperor Akbar built the Agra fort; Jahangir beautified it with palaces and gardens. Shahjahan marked the zenith of Mughal architecture, when he built the Taj. The post-Mughal era's history of Agra saw the rule of the Jats, Marathas and finally the British taking over the city.

What you'll see and do
Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal – 9 am to 11 am Taj Mahal is the main attraction here. Top things to enjoy here are the monument, prayer room, museum and the garden. It would take around 90 minutes to two hours to enjoy this monument. Taj Mahal is one of the famous tourist destination in India. Also famous as Seven Wonders of the World. Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb – 11 am to 12 pm This monument is considered as an antecedent of Taj Mahal. It was built by a Mughal Queen for her father. Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb is located on the bank of the river Yamuna. It looks almost like Taj Mahal with carvings and inlay works. You can have a small stroll along the banks of the river too. Ram Bagh 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm This is the oldest Mughal garden in the city. There is a reason to visit this garden during peak afternoon. This garden is built in a manner that it will be cool no matter when you visit the park. During hot afternoons, the breeze from the Yamuna River would cool the place. Taking a stroll in this garden is a relaxing activity. Shopping – 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm There are a lot of bazaars in Agra. The best place for tourist shopping destination in Agra is Sadar Bazaar. You can find a lot of attractive souvenirs and other items here. It is also near to Agra Fort, your next travel destination. Top items to buy are leather goods, replica of Taj Mahal, Agra shoes, handicraft items, marble works, wood inlay works, antiques and marble goods. Agra Fort – 4:00 pm to 6:00pm Though Agra Fort is very close to Taj Mahal, there is a reason to visit this place at the last. The first reason is that it would look more beautiful in the evening. The second reason is the sound and light show that takes places at 7 in the evening, every day.

Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Agra.
How much does Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Agra usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Agra is not rushed.
Is Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (0/5 across 0 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Agra, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Agra can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Agra and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Agra day Tour with Private Taxi & Professional Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Agra within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Agra?
+
On Outty we rank every Agra experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Taj Mahal Sunrise and Agra Fort Skip the Line Tour, Taj Mahal Skip-the-Line Guided Tour with Multiple Options, Agra: Private Sunrise Taj Mahal & Agra City Tour":. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Agra?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Agra?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
