Beauthiful experience in the traditional cuisine!
It was a fantastic experience. Oumayma and her family welcomed us very much. The tour of the farm gives you a good idea about the day to day life. The making of the tagine was well prepared and all the steps and ingredients were local an fresh. After that you can really relax at the farm with a sweet morrocan tea! We appreciate this and would recommend you to visit.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Janice, for your lovely review :) It was really nice hosting you and your boys and spending the day together at the farm. Our family keeps such lovely memories from your visit, and you are always welcome back whenever you’re in Agadir :) My salam to Tyrell and Thabo 🥰

Amazing tajine and culturally enriching experience
This was a perfect experience from start to finish. Rayan picked me up at my hotel and we had a really nice chat in the car. At the location, where Oumayma and her mother welcomed me with a little tea ceremony. Then we made the Tajine, which turned out perfectly! Oumayma took the time to explain how to eat it like a properly Moroccan. It was an overall great experience, would do it over and over again, as it was one of the best tajine dyal djaj that I ever had! Thank you so much for this wonderful day :)
Response from the operator: Wohoo it’s so nice to read some Moroccan language in your review 😄 The whole family enjoyed your visit, and me even more 😊 It felt so good to spend time with a fellow solo female traveler and have open conversations about our travels, cultures... Thank you for booking our cooking class and for recommending this experience with our family 🥰 Green Akal’s doors will always be open whenever you’re back in Agadir :)

Hands on, educational, engaging, delcious
A family run enterprise set in an organically operated homestead, this was a wonderful experience for all of our family. We were made to feel welcome by Oumaima and her mum, they explained the food we were going to make and demonstrated the traditional methods, before we attempted various stages ourselves. There was lots of opportunities to ask questions about their culture, religion and cuisine throughout the evening. All of our children got involved and loved preparing vegetables and making pastilla and other Morrocan food. I was also an opportunity for our children to help harvest some Vegetation and feed the animals. Ultimately we got to share a big feast with a few of the friendly people also attending the course as well as our hosts. The food was rich and tasty and our children tried new things that they wouldn't normally eat. It's difficult to fault the experience as we felt fully immersed in the Moroccan culture which is what we were seeking.

Is Agadir Cooking Class In A Farm With A Local Family worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Agadir, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+

What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Agadir and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Agadir?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Agadir?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
