    About this experience

With 5 trails and over 60 different challenges, this Adventure Park is the largest forest climbing park in the Columbus area. This is an active climbing adventure! Be ready for some physical challenges! At the heart of the park is the main treehouse platform with 5 separate elevated trails heading off and up into the tree tops. Each is color coded indicating the difficulty of the trail. Like a ski mountain, each climber chooses their own level of challenge. Guests in the park will use the award winning SSB “intelligent belay” system with double-connected safety clips that help keep guests locked to a lifeline cable. This ticket includes about 20-30 minutes of instruction up to 2 hours of climb time. Depending on the climber and the trails chosen, climbers can generally complete two to three trails during a two hour climbing session. This activity is for participants 7 and older and under 270lbs.

Surprised how much fun this is!

I was nervous to go but so glad I did. What a fun afternoon! I was planning for a 15 yo and a 17 yo and this was the perfect activity. My husband and I (48 and 50) were able to participate too. He’s in great shape and found the yellow and green courses (the two easiest) to be fun and still challenging. I was able to complete the entry level yellow course myself despite being overweight and out of shape. This is a workout and will engage all your muscles as you use your core and upper body strength to help stabilize you on the obstacles. It was a fun way to spend 3 hours together as a family.

    Birthday day out

We hadn’t been to Zipzone in years. My twins asked to go with some friends to celebrate their 17th birthday. They all had a blast. Because they were older, taller, and stronger they could do much more than when they were younger teenagers. The staff were always smiling and watching/assisting from the ground. You can tell they place a strong emphasis on safety. Highly recommend if you have never been or go back if it’s been awhile. Thanks for the great day.

    Fun and safe experience!

The instructors were very thorough in their instructions for a safe experience for us. We were able to get two full courses in during our time period. There was minimal to no wait time on each activity.

Adventure Park Climbing Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Columbus.

How much does Adventure Park Climbing Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Columbus usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Adventure Park Climbing Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Columbus is not rushed.

Is Adventure Park Climbing Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 165 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Columbus, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Adventure Park Climbing Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Adventure Park Climbing Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Adventure Park Climbing Experience?

    +

Around 58 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Columbus can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Columbus and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Adventure Park Climbing Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Columbus within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Columbus?

    +

Columbus, OH packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Columbus by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Columbus experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Explore Columbus on The Trolley Pub, Canopy Zip Line Tours in Columbus Ohio. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Columbus?

    +

Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Columbus, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Columbus?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
