    Sorry to say my...

Sorry to say my experience in Morton island is really disappointing. It is far from what was described. The shipwreck wasn’t as nice as it looked in the picture. Actives on the island are not only loin number but also in time. We need to take a taxi to the pier ourselves, as there is no transportation from the city to the pier. The cost includes round way ferry tickets and 2 activities on the island, overall it’s not worth it.

    A lifetime adventure.

My son and I had a wonderful time the staff were perfect. The weather was perfect. The fish that we saw were exciting and the wrecks were overwhelming.

The most un-Australian experience I’ve had - I was verbally abused

A staff member, Bron (if that’s even his real name), verbally abused me, calling me a “f***ing @sshle” after I repeatedly explained I didn’t have a phone to watch a safety video. Other staff refused to help, claimed Bron was the team leader. I should have read the reviews, they have a reputation as it seems. When I finally reached management, they dismissed it as my word against Bron’s and implied people are treated how they treat others—essentially blaming me. They later apologised and offered a ferry time change, but the damage was done. Check-in took 1.5 hours, the snorkel tour was delayed, and staff were rude and visibly stressed. My family visiting from overseas was very disappointed, as this was meant to be a special experience. In 10 years in Australia, I have never encountered such terrible customer service.

A great 'self-guided' Adventure Package, but admin could be better

I would suggest to avoid any delays: We have to be at the Wharf an hour before hand thus, provide all the documents at check in at Holt Street Wharf. This would allow more than enough time to read, select the activities for the day, sign and pay the deposit. Or better yet create a digital platform for every individual to access on their phone during the ferry ride. Once arriving at the Tangalooma Island Resort one can explore without any delays. Unnecessarily time wasted, waited for about 1 hour to get the group together. Also, the $50 deposit per person took 6 business days before it was cleared. Having this organised prior to arriving to Tangalooma would be a much soother experience seeing it's such an active adventure package!

    Worth every penny !

The whole day was great. Kyle was fantastic. Beautiful Island with great facilities. Enjoyed the Segway experience (1st timers). Upgraded to an afternoon cruise.

Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brisbane.

How much does Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package cost?

    +

Prices start at $142 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brisbane usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package take?

    +

Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brisbane is not rushed.

Is Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Brisbane, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brisbane can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brisbane and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brisbane within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Brisbane?

    +

On Outty we rank every Brisbane experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include North Stradbroke Island WILDLIFE Adventure Tour from Brisbane, Australia Zoo Day Trip from Brisbane, Ultimate Brisbane Walking Tour (Small-Group, Drink Included). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Brisbane?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Brisbane?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package?

    +

Included: Return ferry transfers; Tour guide for selected tours; Kayak hire; SUP hire; and Use of snorkeling equipment. Not included: Lunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Where is the meeting point for Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package?

    +

Please meet at Holt Street Wharf 60 minutes prior to ferry departure time. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.

What languages is Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package offered in?

    +

It is offered in Chinese and English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package if the weather is bad?

    +

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.

What do travelers say about Adventure Moreton Island Wrecks Adventure Package?
