Sunset temptation not to be missed
A last minute decision proved this to be the most memorable way to end my visit to Adelaide before my return to UK. Perfectly timed 1.5hr catamaran cruise from Glenelg harbour along the seashore to turn into the sunset for photo opportunities. The Return sailing provided glowing views with sun sinking into the horizon behind while the occasional light spray from the sea refreshed my face. The crew were so friendly, professional and helpful ensuring we were all safe throughout the trip. Definitely sailing on the Temptation into the sunset was a beautiful memorable finale to this Australian trip.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your lovely review and for the 5 stars! We’re thrilled to hear we could help make the end of your Adelaide visit such a memorable one before heading back to the UK. The sunset sail really is something special, and it’s great to know you enjoyed the views and the experience onboard. Our crew will really appreciate your kind words. Hope to see you back in Adelaide and sailing with us again one day! Thanks, The Temptation Sailing Team

Great night
Had a really enjoyable trip. Sun was setting as we stopped to turn around so we had coloured sky all the way back. With the cheese platter and drink and the weather not too cold it was a very enjoyable experience.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed the colourful sunset on the way back. Pairing it with a cheese platter, a drink and calm weather makes for a pretty special evening on the water. We hope to welcome you on board again soon!

good experience
Experience was overall good. One of the suggestion is to leave a board or any kind of sign so that we can identify the pickup point.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your feedback and for joining us 😊 We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the experience overall. We completely understand how clearer signage would be helpful. Unfortunately, the marina doesn’t allow operators to place boards or permanent signs in the area. That said, we do provide detailed directions in the booking confirmation, and our crew is always nearby before departure to help guests find us. We’ll keep looking for ways to make this clearer in our communications. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts — we really appreciate it! Thanks - The Temptation Sailing Team

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.
How much does Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg cost?
+
Prices start at $52 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.
Is Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 98 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Adelaide Twilight Cruise from Glenelg start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Adelaide?
+
On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
