Best Private Wine Tours
We spent a highly enjoyable three days touring Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills with Matthew, Paul and Chris. All three were knowledgeable, exceedingly accommodating and friendly, going out of the way to ensure we were well taken care of. Matthew's recommendation of restaurants was very good, and we were fortunate to be able to taste some of the best foods in Adelaide in addition to the fine wines at the wineries we visited.
Response from the operator: Thanks Goh for choosing Small Batch for your premium wine touring needs. We take great pride in finding knowledgeable and hospitable staff to curate unique wine journeys for our discerning guests. Very happy to hear you enjoyed yourselves in each region with us, it was fun putting together the itineraries for you. Many thanks for the great feedback!

Faultless
We have just returned from a wonderful day in the Adelaide Hills with our guide, Paul. He was marvellous company, his Mercedes van was very comfortable, and Small Batch arranged 4 stops during the day where we enjoyed fine wine, cheese, chocolate etc and were treated like royalty. Worth every cent. Thanks Paul for a great day.
Response from the operator: So very happy to hear you enjoyed yourselves with Paul on tour, and that the staff at each location treated you like friends. Many thanks for the feedback!

Fantastic personalised wine experience
Our tour was very personalised and we went to wineries that we never would have found that were unique and had special qualities that we liked. (Family owned with lots of history). Matthew's knowledge of the area and history was great, we learnt so much from start to finish. We highly recommend Small Batch Wine Tours to anyone wanting an experience that you will totally enjoy and really remember.
Response from the operator: Thanks for providing great feedback Springbrook! Each and every tour is different and tailored to my guests. As you yourselves are family/community focussed small-business owners, I made sure to steer your days with me towards these types of businesses. It's these types of insightful differences matched with our high level of customer service that makes Small Batch stand in a league of it's own versus the other operators.

Wonderful trip
We had a private tour to Adelaide Hills after a couple of days of visiting wineries in Barossa, Eden and McLaren Vale ourselves. Very grateful to Matthew for sharing his knowledge, experience and views on wine. It was important to speak to a person like him to understand better this wonderful wine region.
Response from the operator: So glad to be able to demystify the wine jargon, uncover the secrets of the regions, and help you better understand your relationship with wine. It's something I try to achieve with all my guests no matter their level of expertise. Cheers for the great feedback!

We had a fantastic day
We booked a private tour with Small Batch and we don't regret it for a second. Matthew was a fantastic host and created a custom itinerary based on our wine preferences. The tastings were excellent and lunch was delicious. Next time we are in Adelaide we will definitely book with these guys again
Response from the operator: Great to hear birmas! We can't receive better feedback than guests looking forward to coming back to tour with us again. Looking forward to hosting you again some day

Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.
How much does Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $640 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.
Is Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Adelaide Hills Luxury Wine Tour - Private Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Adelaide?
+
On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
