Great start to the trip!
Enjoyable trip out with viewpoints and lovely shops in the original German settlement. The beer paddle in the pub was also great!

A good option
I booked through a third party, which generated some minor inconsistencies re meeting times and the need to reconfirm, but no major problems. Once underway, everything ran very smoothly, despite encountering a torrential downpour. Our driver/guide, Bruce, was excellent, engaging well with members of the group and offering an interesting and well-informed commentary. So, why only four stars? Mainly, because I found Hahndorf too touristy, and the tea stop was nothing special. But, given that it's a 'must-see', this trip has a lot to commend it.

Mt Lofty overlook...
Mt Lofty overlook provided context to the Adelaide area. The farm store was OK but we were not in a position to take anything with us. Beer paddle (tasting) at the Hahndorf inn was an excellent option - great pretzels. Short but sweet tour - our driver/guide was excellent.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
