Great tour of local Athens food culture

Great experience with Nikoleta and the beautiful city of Athens. DON’T EST BEFORE THE TOUR! We learned so much about the culture and ate SO MANY local dishes. Can’t recommend this tour any more!

    We stoped listening

We’ve taken audio-guided tours before, but this one didn’t meet our expectations. We eventually had to stop listening in order to enjoy our time, as it was often unclear which monument the guide was referring to.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you for your feedback 🙏 We’re sorry the audio guide didn’t meet your expectations. Your input is very helpful for us to improve future tours 🌟 Best, Jo

Tickets are SCAM, Entry time of my tickets was NOT what I purchased

Clio Muse let me pick my entry time for Acropolis Hill. Then let you download your tickets the night before your tour. Then you'll find out that your entry time is NOT what you selected. It's a SCAM and you trip is RUINED, and you will waste more time trying to savage your day. Good luck with your complaint and trying to get a refund. Please DON'T buy anything from Clio Muse or you'll regret.

    Avoid HEADOUTKEYTOURS

"Headout" "Keytours" misleading information on Audio part of tour. Thus site pops up 1st with every search BUT is not the official Acropolis tour site. Audio information lacking.

Response from the operator: Greetings from Clio Muse Tours! Thank you for your review, but I think your review is for another tour provider. We are Clio Muse Tours, selling self-guided audio tours combined with tickets. However please contact us at support@cliomusetours.com and provide your booking reference to make sure that you didn't book with us. We hope you allow us to guide you on your next travels! I would actually recommend it

Went to Athens during Christmas holidays with a couple friends. I came across Clio Muse Tours and we downloaded the city tour guide. I would highly recommend it as a great way to navigate through the historic parts of Athens and see some of the most interesting monuments of Greece. I think it is very enjoyable and easy to follow, it's a nice addition to your trip. I'd love if it also had some food recommendations along the way.

Response from the operator: Greetings from Clio Muse Tours! Thank you for review and your kind words! It's great to hear you enjoyed your visit to Athens using our app! Thank you for your feedback regarding the food recommendations! We will consider it to improve the experiences we offer! Hope to see you again on your next travel adventures! Best, Angeliki, Product Dept.

Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Acropolis E-Ticket with Audio Guide & Athens City Audio Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
