David is truly amazing!
We did the skip-the-line tickets and got right in. David is truly amazing. There was part of the museum that I think everyone missed as there was literally no one in that entire section.
Response from the operator: Good Morning from Caf Tour & Travel, Dear Kymm, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to know that your visit to the Accademia Gallery was smooth and enjoyable and that you had the chance to admire the extraordinary beauty of Michelangelo’s David, one of Florence’s most breathtaking masterpieces. Discovering hidden corners of such an iconic museum often makes the experience even more special, and we are happy this became a memorable part of your time in Italy. We hope to welcome you again soon for more unforgettable cultural experiences in beautiful Florence. Kind regards from Firenze, The Caf Tour & Travel Team

Skip this ticket
Absolutely do not get this ticket. It serves no value at all. Book the ticket thru the museum directly. We essentially picked up our ticket and stood in the same line as all the others. The David is the only well known art, most is religious icons-beautiful but seen everywhere in Florence.
Response from the operator: Dear Laura, Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that, as indicated in the description, highlights, and inclusions, this ticket provides timed entry with priority access, meaning you can skip the general admission ticket purchase lines. Upon arrival, a host is available near the entrance to assist with ticket collection and ensure a smooth start to your visit. However, please note that all visitors are required to pass through security checks, which can result in some waiting time regardless of the type of ticket. Regarding the museum itself, while Michelangelo’s David is certainly the most iconic masterpiece, the Accademia Gallery also houses an important collection of Renaissance works that many visitors find highly valuable and enriching. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us improve communication and set clearer expectations, and we hope you were still able to enjoy part of your visit. Warm regards

Would not choose this tour
Booking wasn’t confirmed but we got charged anyway. Then the tour guide didn’t show with no communication whatsoever. Poor communication and I had to request a refund
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to read about the inconvenience you describe. Unfortunately, without any booking reference or specific details, we’re not able to verify or investigate what may have occurred in your case. We would also like to gently clarify that the experience you booked does not include a guided tour. It provides assistance at the meeting point, where our staff delivers your pre-booked timed-entry tickets. On the day in question, our assistant was regularly present at the agreed meeting point. For this reason, we believe there may have been some confusion and that your review could refer to a different provider. If you’d like to share more details with us, we would be more than happy to look into this further and assist you. Warm regards

Late Start
Our start time was delayed because the staff did not have the information for ticketing organized in a way that met the needs of all the customers.
Response from the operator: Dear Jessica, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the delay at the start of your visit. As indicated, during high season some delays may occur due to the large number of visitors. On that particular morning, there was a slight delay from the museum in releasing the tickets, which resulted in entry approximately 10 minutes after the reserved time. We understand this may have been inconvenient and sincerely apologize. Unfortunately, this is something that can occasionally happen during peak periods due to the high demand at the Accademia Gallery. We appreciate your understanding and hope you still enjoyed your visit. Warm regards from Florence

Got what we wanted
As advertised. Got to skip the line, was very smooth. Pretty direct and we were able to see everything easily.
Response from the operator: Good Morning from Caf Tour & Travel, Dear Amanda, Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that everything went smoothly and that the priority access allowed you to skip the line and enjoy your visit without any परेश. It’s great to know the experience met your expectations and allowed you to explore the Accademia Gallery with ease. We hope to welcome you again soon for more seamless and enjoyable experiences in Florence! Warm regards from Florence, Caf Tour & Travel

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 1,093 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket?
+
Around 383 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Accademia Gallery Entrance Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
