Disappointing
very bad experience, one of the drivers was super rude to me yelled at me in front of the other tourists made me get in the collective, I was going to ask the favor to leave me on the road since this day I had rented a room in Abu Simbel in a hotel, to return to Abu Simbel at night for the light show, I lost the hotel and the collective tomorrow that had paid for it, and today I have to pay hotel in Asuan today and my loss exceeds 100 dollars. The young man was wearing a jean and yellow T-shirt, Additional tell me that they waited half an hour I did not know since he wrote me the time on the cell phone 19:30, not 9:30, the same mistake I come from a fracture of tibia and perone, a traffic accident in my country I can not walk yet fast, I mean I can not walk to the rhythm of other people. rude drivers who do not listen to the customer, it was hard to listen to me 30 seconds and leave me there on the road up to Asuan so that I could reach the hotel that I had already paid.

A Completely Disappointing and Chaotic Tour
This was the worst tour company I have ever experienced. We exchanged WhatsApp numbers the day before, and I was told to wait in the hotel lobby at 3:50 AM. However, no one showed up. I tried contacting them multiple times on WhatsApp, but received no response. I finally asked the hotel reception to call the main office, and only then did the driver arrive at 4:30 AM—without any explanation or apology. We arrived at the site at 8:30 AM, and the tour was supposed to include two full hours of sightseeing, meaning we should return at 10:30. But another participant said they had plans afterward and wanted to leave at 10:00, so our sightseeing time was suddenly shortened. I booked this tour based on the promised two hours, yet it was reduced to just 1.5 hours. The driver didn’t intervene or try to manage the situation at all. On the way back, the driver sped dangerously to accommodate that participant’s schedule, becoming visibly irritated whenever we hit traffic. To make things worse, I was dropped off very far from my hotel. When I hesitated because I didn’t recognize the area, the driver snapped at me, telling me to get out quickly. Maybe this tour deserves five stars for the person who had other plans, but for those of us who were dragged into their schedule, it was a terrible experience. For me, this is a one‑star tour.
Response from the operator:

+

Is Abu Simbel from Aswan by Bus worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Aswan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Abu Simbel from Aswan by Bus?

Is Abu Simbel from Aswan by Bus suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Abu Simbel from Aswan by Bus?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Aswan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Aswan and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
On Outty we rank every Aswan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 or 2 or 1 Nights Mighty Nile Felucca Adventure, 4-Day 3-Night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor - Private Tour, 4-Day 3-Night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor&Abu Simbel+Balloon. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Aswan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Aswan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
