What you'll see and do
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque stands out as one of the world’s largest mosques, and the only one that captures unique interactions between Islam and world cultures. Sheikh Zayed's vision for the Grand Mosque was to incorporate architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and celebrate cultural diversity by creating a haven that is truly diverse and inspirational in its foundation. The mosque’s architects were British, Italian and Emirati, and design inspiration was borrowed parts of Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, and Egypt among other Islamic countries, revealing a glistening architectural marvel with an astonishing capacity of 40,000 worshippers and visitors. The open-door policy invites tourists and celebrants from all around the world who can witness the spectacular onion-top domes, the reflective pools that engulf the courtyard and the iconic prayer hall, which not only overflows with blissful sunlight but also houses the world’s biggest chandelier and carpet, both meticulously handmade. Be sure to spot the calligraphy encircling the hollows of the domes, etched with verses from the Quran and painted with gold leaves in An-Naskh lettering.

Great half day city tour
As other tourists apparently cancelled, I had to book a solo special tour with them. The guide Ayoob Cp picked up at the hotel on time. He was very courteous, showed the places in the tour, and explained about other places along the way around Abu Dhabi in half day. We stopped at Qasr-al-Watsn and waited for the return, took to Emirates Palace hotel, Dates market and some photo op spots along the way. I highly recommend Ayoob.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and recommendation! 🌟 We’re delighted that Ayoob CP made your private Abu Dhabi tour enjoyable with his punctuality, courteous service, and knowledge of the city. It’s great to hear you enjoyed Qasr Al Watan, Emirates Palace, the Dates Market, and the photo stops along the way. We’ll be happy to share your kind words with Ayoob. 😊🇦🇪

Best way to expend your stopover.
Ayoob was a great guide and a better photographer. We took an 8h private tour guide and was all on point. All the stops we made, were worth it. He also give a lot of explanations during the street driving, meantioning all the closest buildings we can see. He also puts a lot of effort on the photographies and videos, and he instantly shared them with you using AirDrop. The pickup up and return place was on the airport, so we expend really well our 12h stopover from 9am to the 17:30pm private tour. I would totally recommend this tour we made today, with beautiful sightseeing. Than you ayoob for showing this amazing country called UAE. Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Abu Dhabi.
How much does Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Abu Dhabi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Abu Dhabi is not rushed.
Is Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 78 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Abu Dhabi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Abu Dhabi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Abu Dhabi and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Abu Dhabi Full Day City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Abu Dhabi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Abu Dhabi?
+
On Outty we rank every Abu Dhabi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Abu Dhabi Desert Safari with Camel Ride BBQ Dinner and Live Shows, Abu Dhabi: Desert Safari with BBQ, Camel Ride & Sandboarding, Half-Day Desert Safari from Abu Dhabi. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Abu Dhabi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Abu Dhabi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
