Ease of transfer

Although I missed out on my chance to spend time in the lounge due to a delayed flight. Etihad made the process of connecting to my transfer seamless. Staff were helpful and managed to get my connecting flight with time to spare.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry that your delayed flight meant you were unable to enjoy the lounge. The good news is that our QR code is valid worldwide, with no restrictions on airport or usage date, so you can simply use it on your next trip. Have a nice day!

Never again!

I was sent a ticket, which I could keep in my wallet. However, this was not accepted as proof in the lounge. Not even a barcode that could be generated from the original email from Viator! I had to send my booking number to Viator again via email and received a QR code, which was only valid for one person. I was only able to obtain another QR code through support half an hour later; by then, I had decided to buy the second ticket on-site again. Even though I eventually received the money back from the lounge: It cost unnecessary time and nerves, and it became clear that: Viator would not have refunded my money at the right time despite the missing second QR code. Definitely not recommended; stay away from it if you want to avoid trouble!! Beautiful old town in Graz

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and frustration caused during your lounge visit. According to our standard booking process, the QR codes required for lounge entry are automatically sent to the email address provided at the time of booking once the reservation is confirmed. This information is also stated in the voucher inclusions and booking instructions. However, we understand that in your case, there appears to have been an issue with the receipt or access to the codes, which resulted in delays and additional stress before entering the lounge. As we take such matters seriously, we would like to investigate your case further. Please provide your booking reference number so we can review the booking records, verify the voucher delivery status, and confirm the QR code usage status. If the QR code is confirmed as unused, you may choose either a refund or keep the pass for future travel. The pass remains valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used by simply scanning the QR code at participating airport lounges worldwide. We appreciate your cooperation and the opportunity to look into this matter thoroughly. Kind regards,

Not what it seems to be when you book

The green Viatour ticket is worthless nobody wants to see it, The QR code link embedded in the only useful email you get (which I didn’t get for this lounge) takes you to an external site. This code eventually gets you in, so long as it is live (ie, a screenshot is no good). For me I had to call the help line who were not able to send the QR code by WatsApp only again by email, which they did to me and the lounge front desk, eventually 1 of 3 emails arrived. The lounge itself is not great extremely busy, you queue up to wait twice. I upgraded to business lounge which was quitter, however they wanted another $50 USD for a shower, which looked awful in the toilets, not a separated area as in most lounges. Basically there are too many people trying to use the Abu Dhabi lounge, when you book you think you have a guaranteed space reserved, you don’t, so be prepared to wait and ViaTour as the middle man can do nothing to help apart from send email, they don’t seem to have a direct relationship with the lounges in this region (I had in even wors experience on Doha).

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, We sincerely apologize for the frustrating experience you had with the QR code, the long waits, and the overcrowded lounge in Abu Dhabi. We truly regret all the stress and inconvenience this caused you, especially with the entry process and the lack of guaranteed space. We take your feedback very seriously and will share your concerns with both our support team and the lounge provider to improve entry instructions, availability, and overall service. We also apologize that our support could not assist you more efficiently during your travel. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, as it helps us improve the experience for all travelers. Best regards Train Spread Team

Excellent Pearl Lounge Experience During Long Transit

I had a 10-hour transit at Abu Dhabi Airport after an 11-hour flight from JFK, and visiting the Pearl Lounge made the wait much more comfortable. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the experience very pleasant. The lounge offered a wide variety of food — salads, snacks, and both hot and cold beverages — all of good quality. The seating was clean and comfortable, with charging points at every table. The restrooms were well-maintained, and shower rooms were available, which was perfect after such a long flight. Overall, the Pearl Lounge was relaxing, convenient, and made my long transit much easier. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a long layover at Abu Dhabi.
