    About this experience

Who is Mr. Lee Kuan Yew? What was he like as a young boy, a husband, a father and a friend? What were his values? How were they shaped? What was his relationship like with his mother, grandmother and father? Next, we chart out the beautiful love story of Mr. and Mrs. Lee, how they met and how their relationship blossomed. We share episodes and uncover gems about the mutual love, admiration and respect they had for one another. We also visit Oxley Road, the Lees residence for 50 years. A visit to their humble home cannot go without mentioning his simple ways and lifestyle. Next is Tanjong Pagar, the constituency Mr. Lee choose as his home base for nearly 60 years. A different perspective of Singapore

The visit to the Old Parliament Chamber room at the end of the tour was an unexpected bonus. Although it’s dubbed a walking tour there isn’t much walking so don’t be deterred by the title, it’s an interesting perspective on Singapore.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the positive review and for spending a morning with us to learn the lesser known facts about Singapore! My personal favourite is also the Old Parliament Chamber Room. It is not available all the time as it might be booked for rehearsals or event. Glad you had the chance to visit it!

Tour and puzzle around China town Singapore

It was really fun and entertaining experience. This was very unique in that the programme not only acted as a puzzle game but also as a tour around China town. I felt that the puzzles were imaginative and fun but the difficulty was a bit too varying which made it a bit confusing. The tour guide was really welcoming and friendly, was very well-versed in the subjects he spoke of and made the programme a hoy to be part of. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this programme either to tourists coming to Singapore as well as others who want a fun time without getting too stressed over puzzles

Response from the operator: Hi there, thanks for taking the time to share with us your experience at Chinatown Murders! Glad you found the puzzles fun, we look forward to welcoming you back soon! =)

    Fun Sunday out

Fun and engaging experience. The UV lighting at the end could be improved. Love the history behind samsui women.

Response from the operator: Thank you for spending a weekend with us playing detective! We have created a sequel called Jewel Heist and we welcome you to join us in another game tour!

About Mr Lee: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.

How much does About Mr Lee cost?

    +

Prices start at $121 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does About Mr Lee take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.

Is About Mr Lee worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule About Mr Lee?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is About Mr Lee suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book About Mr Lee?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does About Mr Lee start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Singapore?

    +

On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Singapore?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Singapore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
