What you'll see and do
Vidal Venice Tours
You will get on my "topa" boat and you will experience a great Venetian aperitivo with a stunning view of Venice from the outer lagoon and its magic islands :) As soon as we start cruising, I'll start serving you the following treats: - Prosecco (sparkling white wine), local beers. All the drinks are proudly made in our region (Veneto). - Snacks. The experience will last about 1 hour and a half and you will get to see its most iconic views (San Marco, Giudecca, Lido di Venezia and much more). At the end of this experience I will drop you off at the same spot where I picked you up. This experience is perfect for anyone: singles, couples, families and groups of friends. Boys and girls above 5 are welcome too but they won't be able to drink alcohol if they are under 18, sadly.

Alessandro’s boat tour.
Alessandro was the absolute best guide. He owns the boat. Took us to amazing non touristy areas of the S Lagoon and even took the time to drop my family at our hotel after! Best thing we did. Alessandro Vidal Venice Tours +39 3406767704 vidalvenicetours@gmail.com

Fantastic Host, Beautiful Views, Great Local Tips
A wonderful way to experience Venice from a local’s perspective. We had a fantastic time on the A Venetian Aperitif on the Lagoon tour hosted by Alessandro. Our group consisted of four couples, which felt like the perfect size - small enough to get to know everyone while still creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Of course, the overall vibe will depend a bit on the other guests, but we were lucky to have a great group. The small open-air boat was one of the highlights of the experience. It allowed us to explore parts of the lagoon and navigate narrow canals that larger tour boats simply can’t access, giving us a much more intimate view of Venice. Alessandro was an excellent host… friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to share local recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, and places to experience Venice beyond the typical tourist itinerary. It felt less like a tour and more like spending an evening with a local who genuinely loves sharing his city. If you’re looking for a unique, relaxed way to see Venice from the water while picking up great insider tips, we highly recommend this experience.

Lagoon Boat Ride
Great experience in Venice and Allessandro was a great host!

Hidden parts of Venice and a starting point to know about the other islands.
Really friendly, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Saw lots of amazing places and heard about the history of them. Perfect size of crowd to feel intimate while cheaper than private. Alessandro is a great skipper. An hour and a half is the perfect length of time I think, to be on the boat. Best for if you are happy to see the quieter and less known parts, which tourists usually would never see, such as abandoned shipyards, old gondola makers, and an introduction to some of the other islands. Thank you, Alessandro. It was such a beautiful, memorable experience.
Response from the operator: Thanks ❤️

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 65 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
