About this experience
You'll have a unique opportunity in Vaucluse to discover a mythical French vehicle from the 60s: the Solex! Our region's small, paved roads make for great rides at speeds of up to 25 kph. The slow pace of this moped is ideal for taking your time and enjoying the Provencal countryside, between the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux. The tour starts in the village of Beaumes-de-Venise. We'll wind our way through the Muscat vines, a local specialty. We'll pause to enjoy the scenery and talk about the history of the area. The tour ends with a wine tasting in a village cellar.

The experience will start with explanations about how to use the Solex, a motorized bike. There will be also a helmet/gloves test and a first try of the vehicle on the place.

A "quiet" moment
Meeting at the market square in Beaumes de Venise with Clément, and after a quick introduction to the "machines," we were off for a fabulous tour with views of the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux, while riding through and stopping by the vineyards for the many explanations from our guide who had an answer to all our questions, and to finish: a tasting of good wines at Xavier Vignon!! Thank you Clément for this rich and "quiet" (as they say in Provence) moment in your beautiful region Pat and Stef

A must-try!
It was our 2nd walk with Clément, another timeless moment with magnificent landscapes, a superb guide, and a nice tasting! The walk is long, with stops to take the time to explore the view. As they say, good things come in threes! It is with pleasure that we will do another walk, in another destination, we never get tired of it. Thank you Clément, everyone loved it!

A very nice experience on the Solex... Clement is a very good guide, and you can tell he loves sharing his knowledge. He knows his region very well and is curious about everything. I recommend the tour without any reservations. I had a great time.

The most fun on two wheels
Clem is exceptional and provided a very special experience for our family. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish and we experienced the very best of the French countryside on two wheels. We would recommend the experience to any visitor.

Best Bike Ride
This was one of the best excursions of our Provençal vacation. The tour was scenic and informative and fun! Ending at the wine tasting was a nice touch. Recommend the morning tour as the sun did heat up! Clement made for an interesting lesson of the area and his passion for Solex bikes was contagious. Would do again!
