Cool caving
Went in middle of October. Sea was warm and swimming a bit rough. Otherwise a wonderful experience. It was only us and the guide Peter in the cave. Very well organized and guided. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the experience and that you had such a great time exploring the cave with Pere. We hope to see you again for another adventure!

Amazing rappelling/cave adventure
We had a wonderful time on this adventure! There were seven of us in the group, ranging from 12-50 years old, all traveling together. There were so many different things to do, and each was an activity on its own. We hiked to get to the site, then put wet suits on (more difficult for some of us than others!), then climbed to the top of the cliff. Then we rappelled (abseiled- just another word) off the cliff into the water, one by one. We later tried to guess how high the cliff was, and we don’t really know, but guessed between 70-100 feet. After that, we had to swim (in fairly choppy water) to the cave entrance. The cave is an entirely different world. There were stalactites and stalagmites everywhere, throughout multiple rooms. In some areas we swam. The cave was truly amazing. After the cave, we swam back to the shore in rough waters, took off our wet suits, then hiked back to the entrance. We were all exhilarated and exhausted. Our guide, Xisco, was wonderful. He was patient and encouraging. Those of us that needed a little extra help (me) never felt like a nuisance. He even towed a couple of us back to shore (swimming himself). Some recommendations that may not be obvious when booking the trip: You need athletic shoes. And they WILL get wet. You’ll need to bring water. You can bring your phone but you’ll have to leave it unattended for over a couple hours (we did not bring ours). Xisco took pictures for us, including of the rappelling and inside the cave. And wear a swimsuit for under the wet suit. You’ll be offered a life jacket. Unless you’re an excellent swimmer, I’d accept the life jacket. It’s really hard to swim in a wet suit, although it does keep you somewhat buoyant. Again- highly recommend! Thank you, Xisco!
Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We’re delighted that you and your group enjoyed the adventure and that every part of it—from the hike to the cave—was memorable. Your kind words about Xisco mean a lot; we’ll be sure to pass them on. And thank you for sharing such helpful tips for future guests! We’d love to see you again on another adventure soon. Best regards, The Món d’Aventura Team

Just book it!
Just book it. Great instructors, great fun. Went with my 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter - hike, abseiling and cliff jumping but the highlight was the caves - awesome.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you and your family had such a great time with us. We hope to welcome you all back for another adventure soon.

Amazing experience!
We had an amazing day hiking and rappelling to get to the caves. The guided tour through the cave was magical. Swimming back to the beach and our hike bike gave us a chance to connect with others on the tour. Laura was an amazing guide: super knowledgeable about the area, the cave and history. She was very encouraging to anyone with apprehension rappelling, and she let everyone know that there were many options to get through challenges. Everyone in our group rappelled and it was so much fun. The cave is spectacular. It was so good we booked the next day which included kayaking, cliff diving, snorkeling and exploring 2 caves, one on kayak and the other we swam into. What an amazing time. Miguel the owner runs great tours and Laura is an amazing tour guide!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had an amazing time hiking, rappelling, and exploring the caves with us. Laura truly is a gem, and we're glad she made your experience memorable with her knowledge and encouragement. It's fantastic that you enjoyed it so much that you booked another adventure the next day. We take great pride in offering diverse and exciting activities like kayaking, cliff diving, and snorkeling. Miguel and our entire team are dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences, and we appreciate your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in the future!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms cost?
+
Prices start at $88 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 43 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does A Sea Cave Adventure: Explore Cova des Coloms start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
