    Eco Kite Adventure

I have visited A Mi Mek It a few times now, but the last time I took my kids and a few of their friends to do one of their awesome activities. They made an "Eco-Kite" using material from the yard (I won't spoil it!) and lots of creativity, they had an absolute blast. They loved the food (real Jamaican lunch was included!), playing with animals (especially the goats and the puppies!) and felt free and safe to run around with their brand new kites. It was overall an amazing experience that I would sincerely recommend to all families with children. On the other hand, the giftshop area and the court are amazing to visit for locals and tourists alike. You can learn a lot about Jamaican culture, trees, fruits and vibes just spending a little time here with Marie and her crew. Such an amazing and out-of-the-ordinary experience!!! You can make your own souvenirs crafted from natural local materials, learn about Jamaica, listen to good music... what else can anyone wish for?

Meaningful way to experience Jamaican culture

We had a wonderful time at A Mi Mek It!! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel like special guests. I enjoyed creating my own souvenir, which made the experience feel very personal and meaningful 🌟 We also loved picking and eating fresh fruit straight from the trees and interacting with the animals! It was a beautiful way to experience Jamaican culture, nature, and creativity. Highly recommend! 🇯🇲💚💛

    My favorite place in Montegobay

I took an Indrive from Montegobay to A mi Mek it . It literally took 2 minutes! At arrival I knew I was at the right location as there where these cute artsy sign with “A mi Mek it “ on. I went by my self and was greeted by the owner as it was my lucky day and she and her partner were present . I had bin here before it was officially open and made some magnets then . As a magnet collector this one has a special place on my fridge cause ?! “A mi Mek it “. Today I can e to get some information about setting a date to come get some lesson in making straw hand fans that I had seen advertised online . The date is set for in Oktober . In the meantime I had the pleasure to meet the family animals of one the chick that they have hatched . The showed me this machine that you put the eggs in for several weeks . Absolutely amazing , you could see the chick in the egg actually growing . I sat in the shade got a nice cold spring water on the house twice and checked out the other crafty stuff that is available to par take in . I love a mi Mek it and surly will be back to make some jewelry soon! I will be back in Oktober!

How much does A Mi Mek It - Eco Cultural attraction and DIY GiftShop cost?

    +

Prices start at $18 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Montego Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does A Mi Mek It - Eco Cultural attraction and DIY GiftShop take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Montego Bay is not rushed.

Is A Mi Mek It - Eco Cultural attraction and DIY GiftShop worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Montego Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule A Mi Mek It - Eco Cultural attraction and DIY GiftShop?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is A Mi Mek It - Eco Cultural attraction and DIY GiftShop suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book A Mi Mek It - Eco Cultural attraction and DIY GiftShop?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Montego Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Montego Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does A Mi Mek It - Eco Cultural attraction and DIY GiftShop start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Montego Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Montego Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Montego Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Appleton Estate Admission Ticket & Distillery Tour with Tastings, Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Private Tour from Montego Bay, Montego Bay Clear Kayak Drone Photoshoot & Video. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Montego Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Montego Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
