Great Barcelona Night with Alessandro the Great
Great way to get to learn historical facts and get to know the local area. The area is fascinating and the tour guide, Alessandro, was so energetic and knowledgeable. The description on the website needs to reflect that there is only one bar stop.

Great night with locals in Barcelona
My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of joining Alan on the Drinks & Bites in El Born Tour, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona! Alan was the perfect guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and effortlessly personable. He struck the perfect balance of sharing just enough history to enrich the experience without overwhelming the fun and laid-back vibe. While the bites were enjoyable, the true stars of this tour were the delicious cocktails and the vibrant, unique bars Alan introduced us to. Our favorite stop was an incredible speakeasy tucked away in El Born. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like we’d been transported to another era. The ambiance was unforgettable, and the expertly crafted drinks were phenomenal. Alan’s expertise shone through in every aspect of the tour. He clearly knows the neighborhood like the back of his hand and took us to hidden spots we never would have found on our own. Each stop was a delightful surprise, and Alan’s enthusiasm for the local culture and mixology made the experience even more enjoyable. This tour is a must-do for anyone looking to experience Barcelona’s nightlife like a local. It’s perfect for couples, friends, or anyone who loves exploring unique bars with a side of fascinating stories. We couldn’t stop talking about how much fun we had and how it felt like we were out for drinks with a good friend who just happened to be a walking encyclopedia of El Born. We highly recommend this tour—and Alan specifically! Don’t miss this unforgettable evening in Barcelona.

Great fast, yet fun tour of Barcelona!
Our family of 8 flew into Barcelona the night before a cruise. We had only a short time to see the City. Our tour guide Octavio met us at our hotel and we had a great walking tour. Six of our family members were ages 24-30 and they really enjoyed and related to Octavio. Since we were late in arriving and hungry Octavio called a restaurant, made reservations, and took us to enjoy Tapas. It was very busy on a Saturday night but we were immediately seated at a lovely table. Octavio explained all about the foods and ordered for us. The meal was heavenly and the conversation even better. It was so great to have a private tour guide that could relate to us, show us things we would enjoy, and fit things into our limited time schedule! Highly recommended!

Scam, stay away
I’m sure this tour was a scam. It was a walking tour that only included the statue of the cat and a stop at a tapas bar. The tour guide was unaware this was to be a magical evening. The guide was a nice man, who tried to discuss history, but had limited knowledge. We were not shown any of the night lights of buildings or monuments as I expected. We did go to a tapas bar. My husband ordered a beer, I ordered water. We had a tapas plate each (suppose to be included), and was told we had to pay for one of the tapas as it was not in the budget even though we only had one alcohol drink and was allowed 2 tapas. It was booked as a 2.5 hr tour. My husband was great and tried to keep the conversation going, but after 1.5 hrs, I ended the torture and called it a night. This negative experience cost $159. They should pay us for our time.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does A Magical Evening in Barcelona: Private City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
