An Unforgettable Safari Experience

I had an amazing safari experience at Chambabando National Park, guided by two knowledgeable and professional young women who made the trip both enjoyable and educational. They ensured our comfort with fleece blankets on the cold morning and later treated us to hot tea/coffee, scones and biscuits in the middle of the park. Their knowledge of wildlife was exceptional. We learned about various animals, birds, flora and fauna including the fascinating hammerkop bird, known for building enormous nests high in trees (we were shown one). They also explained how bird migration changes the species visitors can see in different seasons. Despite the cold weather making wildlife difficult to spot at first, their patience and determination rewarded us with sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, kudus, warthogs, jackals, vultures and many other species. I was particularly impressed by how confidently they read animal behavior to keep us safe when we were close to elephants. Their humor added to the experience, especially when they joked that a zebra has only "two stripes" black and white. Seeing two young women lead the safari with such confidence, expertise and passion was truly inspiring. We highly recommend this safari to anyone visiting Victoria Falls, especially with these two lady guides.

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Victoria Falls?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
