Superb experience! Happy to recommend Silk Tours!
Silk Roads delivered a memorable trip for us. They customised a 11 night/12 day trip for us, were patient as we had to reschedule the trip twice, and made sure everything went off smoothly. The hotels they picked were good and the itinerary covered all what we wanted to see. The highlights of this trip were the guides they assigned to us. All of them were fantastic and even took us to a few places not on the itinerary once we expressed interest in certain things. I'd happily recommend Ulugbek and his team to anyone wishing to tour Uzbekistan.
Response from the operator: We love tailoring experiences around our guests’ interests, so it’s wonderful to hear that the guides were able to add a few special experiences along the way. Thank you for recommending Silk Roads. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Uzbekistan in the future!

Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent with a day trip to the 7 lakes in Tajikistan
From my initial contact with the company everything has been simple and easy. They have been responsive, helpful and flexible especially when I had to cancel and reschedule some of our excursions due to illness. The flight and train bookings have been pretty good and pick ups from the stations and airports have been perfect. Our tour guides have been very good and the accommodation has been lovely. I would have no apprehension in booking through Silk Road tours again in the future.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that everything from the initial planning to the airport and train transfers went smoothly. It was a pleasure having you travel with Silk Road Tours, and we would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back to Uzbekistan in the future. Wishing you all the best and many more wonderful travels!

9-day trip - Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand, Uzbekistan
Overall the experience with the Silk Road Tour team was excellent starting with a fast quote, adapted to our requirements and flexible when plans changed. We did a 9-day tour of Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand. The local guides and drivers were great, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating (even stopping at a whole series of restaurants asking if they did vegetarian food). I would definitely recommend Uzbekistan and Silk Road Travel.
Response from the operator: We truly appreciate your kind words about our flexibility and service. It was a pleasure helping you explore Uzbekistan, and we’re very grateful for your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back to Uzbekistan for another memorable journey in the future!

An excellent “taster” tour of the major sites of Uzbekistan.
Everything went smoothly: the internal transport and transfers to and from the hotels were all on time. The guides were very good: they were knowledgeable, charming, had good English language skills and were clearly very proud of their beautiful country.

9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tashkent.
How much does 9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan cost?
+
Prices start at $1,050 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tashkent usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan take?
+
Plan for about 216 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tashkent is not rushed.
Is 9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tashkent, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 216-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tashkent can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tashkent and add a light layer if any part of the 216-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 9 Days Private Guided Tour to Uzbekistan start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tashkent within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tashkent?
+
On Outty we rank every Tashkent experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Explore Amirsoy, Chimgan & Charvak – A Full-Day Mountain Tour, Best Of Tashkent: Amirsoy Skiing Resort, Chimgan and Charvak Lake, Tashkent: Guided Walking & Food Tour with Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tashkent?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tashkent?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
