Soooo glad we chose this wonderful company!

Five stars, pus plus plus! We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Nikos and Theo at Eudaimonia. Nikos worked hard to find the right rooms for my son and me, and we were never disappointed; all accommodations were excellent, which I was not expecting, considering the reasonable cost of the tour. Nikos was also thorough and precise in messages. He taxied us during another part of our trip through Athens and gave us a wonderful two-hour tour that included the cultural center and a fabulous bakery. We enjoyed our time with him immensely. Our 8-day Peloponnese tour covered countless amazing sites. Unforgettable times at Mycenae, Monemvasia (ah, linger here!), Olympia, and the Meteora monasteries. The day trip to Hydra is strongly recommended. I would have liked to slow the tour down some because there is so much to learn and absorb! Our guide, Theo, could not have been a more congenial, knowledgeable, and fun companion. He was flexible and always eager to meet our wishes. When the mountain train was on strike and we saw a monastery up in the cliffs as we drove down, he made the detour happily, and this became one of my son's favorite stops. And he was tolerant of my fear of heights, which got the better of me once or twice on the high roads! Our delicious lunches full of great conversation and laughter will long be remembered. We saved endless amounts of time, stress, money and mistakes by experiencing Greece with these professionals. Do not hesitate to entrust your group to the team at Eudaimonia--best decision of our trip!

Response from the operator: Just a big thank you for ... covering eveything. This, besides being a great review for us, is an excellent reference to help potential "customers" overcome their concerns about what we really offer. Once again, thank you for choosing our agency!

AMAZING!!!!!!!

Best tours EVER!! We loved the first tour with them so much, we did more!! Panayiotis and Nikos were amazing!! My husband and I were so happy that we booked these tours. Neither one of us realized how beautiful the Peloponnese and Northern Greece regions really were until we did this tour. Loved the we didn’t have to choose a restaurant in unfamiliar places. It takes a lot for me to trust people to choose that for me, and I’m so glad we did!! Great choices!! It was a highlight for both of us!! The food and culture were right up there with the beauty, and it all tied together perfectly! This tour and guide brought that beauty to life for both of us!! You have to just do it!!

Response from the operator: You’re the best! We love easy-going, relaxed people, and we make every effort to gain your trust and not disappoint you! Thank you!

Extended Visit to Northern Greece

For the second time in two years, my mom and I were very fortunate to work with Nikos in planning a custom itinerary that allowed us to immerse in the wonders of Northern Greece. True to the promise to provide an authentic and personalized experience, we left Greece after 11 days with a revitalized energy that came from connecting with people, culture, food, and nature. Expanding on the published 9-day itinerary that included parts of Northern Greece, we really appreciated the extended stay in Ioannina. This allowed for a deeper exploration of the stone villages of the Zagori (for my mom) and an opportunity to hike the Vikos Gorge (for me.) We also appreciated that there was flexibility in the daily itinerary, and we were able to stay longer in some locations as well as add experiences such as visiting the Perama Caves (highly recommended!) A highlight in this area was spending the better part of a day at the Bakery of the Village in Zitsa with Kostas, Anna, and their children. The opportunity to get hands on and learn how to make authentic pitas was special enough, but this was made more memorable witnessing the harmonic balance of work, land, family, and community. This is something to be experienced rather than described, and we hope many more get to benefit from spending a day in Zitsa. We also had the opportunity to spend time in Konitsa and Kastoria where lakes and mountains are king. We highly recommend this area for any outdoor- and nature-loving enthusiasts as the opportunities to explore trails, lakes, rivers, and wildlife are too many to count. Admittedly, our days started early and ended late as there was so much to see, but it was hard to turn down opportunities to see such unique places. Future visitors should prepare for a good amount of walking on sloping, uneven surfaces to access the sights. A special quality about traveling with our guide, Theo, was his skill at engaging locals in conversation which often led to unplanned yet remarkable opportunities. On the path to the Monastery of Panagia Stomiou in Konitsa, he helped two Americans fit in with the Greek locals making the trek. Later in Kastaniani, we spent a few hours in a cafe with a retired dancer from the Greek National Ballet and Opera despite the fact that his cafe was closed for the day. This display of Greek hospitality would not have been possible without Theo. As he did last time, Theo was seamless in managing the daily logistics as well as making us feel like we were family rather than temporary visitors. (Be warned: He has the skill of a yiayia in encouraging you to eat!) The richness of memories and experiences are too many to chronicle here, and that alone is a testament to the quality of this tour.

Response from the operator: Melissa and Helen! Thank you very much for "elaborating" on your recent extended tour! Theo said that it was a pleasure traveling and exploring with you. We hope to see you again and ... see more! THANK YOU for the very informative and heartfelt review. Nikos

A Fantastic Experience in a Gorgeous Country!

After lots of research and questioning as to whether we should rent a car to tour on our own or hire a private guide, we found Eudaimonia. After talking with Nikos, the owner, and exchanging many emails of questions, we decided to hire him. And boy did we make the right decision! Our trip was fantastic. The itinerary, the hotels, the food - everything was great but even made more special with Theo, our assigned driver. Theo, a consummate professional, quickly became our friend. His patience, friendliness, driving skills and knowledge were all tremendously appreciated. Unfortunately, I had a bad fall on the last day which resulted in a trip to the hospital. Instead of going by ambulance, we were able to go with Theo in our private car. Once there, Theo got the right people involved and made sure we were taken care of before going to park the car (a challenge in Athens!). He then joined us in the hospital and stayed with us, acting as an interpreter as needed. After discharge, he drove us back to hotel where he helped get me to my room before finally saying goodbye. He truly went above and beyond! Don’t hesitate to go with Eudaimonia Tours - you will not be disappointed!

Response from the operator: Kelly We hope you recover quickly. Thank you for the great review and the nice words.

10 days in Greece

Everything was exactly as promised. Private car, excellent driver, flexibility to adapt to our preferences, delicious food, great boutique hotels, and fabulous sites, scenery and history. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this trip. Thanks to Theo for making our 40 anniversary very special.

Response from the operator: We are glad that we participated in making your ... 40th anniversary very special! Thank you very much, James.

9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does 9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina cost?

+

Prices start at $2680 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina take?

+

Plan for about 216 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is 9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 216-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 216-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

+

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
