Extremely well crafted and detailed information about Egyptian history’ will highly recommend!
Maror was just so amazing, the way she knows Luxor is pretty incredible. She was fully prepared, we had less time since our flight landed late but she was swift to discuss with us what we def want to see and not miss and gave us such detailed information using her laser to show is things in the middle of these huge structures. She really does know the temples, tombs very very well and is extremely knowledgable when it comes to Egyptian History, we also asked her a lot of questions pertaining to how life was 8000 years ago and she was very good and knowledgable. You’ll be happy and fully content if you have her as your guide. Will totally recommend! Thank you again ♥️

Great experience overall!
Maret & our driver were amazing! Maretwas so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She got so many great photos for us as well. Some of the hard sells from some of the stores we went to were annoying, as was the review insistence but good experience overall.

BEST tour, Thank you!!!
What can I say about this tour and the star of it, Maret...? We have never experienced a guide to be not only so deeply knowledgeable but also so extremely kind, friendly, and passionate about every single detail of Egyptian culture and history. Maret made us feel like we went to college in how much we learned about the temples, their Gods, and their culture. At the same time, it all felt so light and fun like we were hanging out with a close friend all day. We felt so privileged to be with a guide that planned every single detail so carefully. Maret made sure we avoided crowds and extreme heat, she guided us to the very best spots and made sure we got plenty of alone time to get pictures at all the most beautiful sites. She also made sure our car was always waiting for us by the second we walked out one site, ready to take us to the next, and always with a beautiful smile on her face. All we can say is a very big THANK YOU! If not for all the beauties of your country, we also wish to come back to Luxor just to see you again :) Our very best regards, Paola and Erik

8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.
How much does 8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.
Is 8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 8-hours Private Luxor Day Tour to East and West Banks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Luxor?
+
On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Half day Tour to West bank, Private Half Day Luxor Tour Valley of Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut, Full Day Tour of Luxor private. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Luxor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Luxor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
