    Magnificent Trip!

My trip with Arctic Adventures for the 8-Day Ring Road Tour was nothing short of magnificent! The size of the group was perfect for socializing yet small enough to feel personal. Our guide Bjorn was fabulous with the amount and type of history and information he provided. He kept us highly engaged while making sure to meet our needs and desires as a group. What we saw and experienced was more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Response from the operator: Hi Kristin, a group that's small enough to feel personal but big enough to socialize, that's the sweet spot for eight days on a bus together. Glad the ring road delivered beyond what you pictured. Arctic Adventures Team

    Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

This Iceland trip was honestly the best trip I’ve ever been on! Arctic Adventures did such an amazing job planning everything. The adventures, itinerary, timing, and all the places we visited were so well thought out. We got to see so much of Iceland, and every day was something new and absolutely beautiful. And Siggy was the BEST guide! His knowledge of Iceland’s history and all the stories behind the places we visited made everything so much more interesting. He was so much fun to learn from and really made the trip that much better. My mom and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything about Arctic Adventures was wonderful, and Siggy made an already amazing trip even better. Highly, highly recommend Arctic Adventures! And if you get Siggy as your guide, you hit the jackpot!

Response from the operator: Hi there, a mother-daughter ring road trip where both of you call it the best ever — that's a week of memories sorted. A guide who makes history fun is what turns the driving days into highlights too. Come back for more! Arctic Adventures Team

    Greatest experience!

Gunn was our CEO of the tour and I can’t tell good things about how great she was as a tour guide. If Artic adventures is looking for a model employee then Gunn Iren is the one! Keep her at any cost!

Response from the operator: Hi there, glad the eight days were that good. "CEO of the tour" is a title we might need to make official. Sounds like the whole ring road was in very good hands, thank you for joining us! Arctic Adventures Team

    Beautiful country, incredible tour guide.

Ronan was our tour guide. He was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever experienced while traveling abroad. The places we went, his attention to detail and stories about the history of this amazing country was worth the trip alone. He kept a schedule which helped us see even more than expected. Hands down the best experience.

Response from the operator: Hi Leslie, appreciate the review. Glad the eight-day ring road tour was such a memorable one, and that the guide kept the days both full and well-paced. Wishing you safe travels onwards. Arctic Adventures Team

8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast cost?

    +

Prices start at $1890 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast take?

    +

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 104 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast?

    +

Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour: Reykjavik, Akureyri, Golden Circle & South Coast start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
